Postby kemper5 » Thu Aug 20, 2009 2:13 pm

In a 12 team PPR league that has the regular scoring of 1 PT for every 10 yards and 6 pt TD's and 1 pt per reception is K. Smith a # 1 RB for a team? What does everyone think about him this year with his scedule of (Minny 2x,Pitt,Balt,Chi etc etc) supposidly the worst O line and the worst run schedule in the NFL

I like Smith...hard runner, great in the pass, and not in an RBBC situation, just a bad team. But look at his numbers last year with a team that didnt win a game...not bad. Will he improve, yes, but a #1 RB in a ppr league...not quite. He would need to be paired up with a Forte or MJD or Westy.

I have Smith as a mid range #2 in a 12 team league. There is no way I would want to go into the year with him as my #1. Detroit is going to be throwing the ball a lot this year trying to catch up.

I don't think that he will get that many TDs. I think CJ2 will get a lot of looks in the redzone. I would go with 1100-1300 combined yards, around 30 rec, and 4 TDs.
