I am in an 18-team dynasty league standard non-ppr scoring. We start QB, 4xWR, 3xRB, 1xTE, 1xK, 1xDEF
My team: QB: Delhomme, Leinart RB: Pierre Thomas, White, Michael Bush, Sproles, McCoy, Donald Brown, Jennings, James Davis, Bernard Scott WR: Calvin, Colston, AJ, Bess, Malcom Floyd, Dillard, Schilens TE: None K: Hanson, Scobee Def: NE, BAL
The following offer is on the table: Donald Brown for Matt Schaub & Brandon Pettigrew.
It definitely fills some needs, I am just having a hard time weighing Schaub for the potential in Brown.
He looks great. Tons of talent and Indy will give him a chance to play. They need his big play ability to alleviate pressure from Manning.
You might regret passing on this deal early in the year. After Donald Brown begins tearing up the league...you will be happy.

Ok, same roster as first post, but new offer. Got an offer of: michael bush/malcom floyd for crabtree/josh cribbs. The owner also likes brown and would take him in place of bush as well.
My starting WR are pretty loaded, but I have no depth. My starting RB are average, but I have lots of young potential. Seems like a good deal. I'm just hesitant because I think bush will be a star (and I have put in the time with him since he has been sitting on my bench for a few years now).
Should I take the offer? If so, whichwould you rather give up... Bush or brown? Brown has a lot of talent, but I have seem bush do well when given the chance.
Brown is a better prospect than Bush by a good margin.
Since you are locked in at WR. I wouldn't be focusing on adding more depth at a strong position.
Bush has a good chance to be a 1000 yard rb next to a 1000 yard mcfadden.
I am only shying away from Crabtree because you are super loaded at wr. You can only start so many players.
So chill out for a minute. Don't trade....to simply make a trade.

I wouldn't make either trade. He is trying to get D. Brown off you cheap, don't fall for it. I don't know how much faith the Colts have in Addai and he has also shown that he has a hard time staying healthy. Brown is going to be a stud when he gets his chance to play.

But what do you think about the other offer... Michael Bush/Malcom Floyd for Crabtree/Cribbs? With my roster, I have a lot of young RB, and decent starters. I have really good starting WR, but no depth.

i also wouldn't take either deal, first one just simply because Brown is much more valuable period. second one is closer but still a no for me, Crabtree is WAY behind now and may not even sign this year, and for a rookie his value as dropped BIG time. Bush is again the best player in the deal for what? Floyd is a throw away #3 WR on his team at best which equates to about a #3 BENCH player on most fantasy teams, add to the Bush value by what your getting in return is not much at all. Crabtree is a big name but at this point and time has no value to being able to help your squad, and Cribbs is a returner which really does nothing for your team. you basically give up a potential 800-1000 yard rusher, this year even, for 2 WR that will add no depth to your bench and help you in regards to this year nominally at BEST. i wouldn't do either.
So just to keep my options open, I just started throwing feelers out (since it is a dynasty league, and I know a lot of people are interested in crabtree) to see what I could get back for crabtree.
Assuming I do Michael Bush/Malcolm Floyd and get Crabtree/Cribbs.... I just wanted to see if I could turn Crabtree into something else.
I started asking around, and was offered:
Schaub/Moreno for Crabtree/Colston
That would make the total trade:
Michael Bush/Malcolm Floyd/Colston for Moreno/Schaub/Cribbs.
I just want a 2nd opinion, but that is still a no-go with you guys right? I might be able to get Pettigrew and another #1 pick thrown in instead of cribbs, turning it into:
Michael Bush/Malcolm Floyd/Colston for Moreno/Schaub/Pettigrew/2010 #1
Would that make you pull the trigger (keep in mind that my only starter that I would be giving up is Colston)? My bench RB would be Donald Brown/Moreno/McCoy/Sproles/James Davis/Bernard Scott/Rashad Jennings.... For an 18 team dynasty that leaves me pretty loaded.
