Rodgers, decent but not a top 5. Packers have already announced they are going to run the ball more than they did last year. Flacco, meh =/ Portis is going to be sharing his back field more than normal this year. All 3rd down plays are going to Betts this year, + most red zone carries. Plus all 2 min drills are going to Betts. Ronnie Brown, he is sharing the backfield more this year with Williams. L.McCoy, could go either way, but I guess it doesn't matter. Probably a let pick so =/. D. Brown. is a push over. Plus it's a 3back committee in Indy so he wont get you much.
Fitz is a WR god. Consistent (so long as he doesnt get hurt) - One of the two players I trust this year. (Other one is Tom Brady - He's a constant stud). Edwards - Always hurt, on a shitty team, and never been that great and has never been consistently average. Gates - He's fine. But TE's come a dime a dozen. Ward - Decent, but not a stud =/ Ginn - Not a stud, wont be great. Harvin - Could go either way, but since he's not drafted in most leagues, it doesn't matter. Gage - Below average, on a non passing team. Not a starter. TBH, with you WR's. You will probably be picking up 2nd WR (maybe even a 3rd for WR/RB) on waiver wire. Everybody but Fitz is bellow average, inconsistent, or constantly injured.
Defense. You will probably be picking up a new one on waiver wire, so it doesn't matter.
Fact, is this draft was horrible. Nobody is consistently game breaking. I mean, last two years, Tom Brady, Deangelo Williams, Forte. You can't predict anybody except for the two studs, (Brady and Fitz). But because it's a WR, it doesn't matter, he's not a league breaking player.
Make the correct waiver pickups and you could win.
To the above post, Tom Brady has had one great season and a whole bunch of mediocre ones. He's coming off a major knee surgery, the same one that took out names like Daunte Culpepper. Take out his one 50 TD season, he's only averaged about 3800 yards, 25 TDs, 13 INT. Hardly a "good" fantasy season stats for a guy who's supposed to be the best QB?
To the original post, Portis and Fitz are both pretty safe picks. I like Rodgers alot this year as well. Ronnie Brown is incosistent and nobody knows exactly how to rank him, but I think he's still a borderline 2nd RB or a flex guy. Your depth at RB provides alot of upside. Edwards can hopefully learn to catch the ball. If he repeats his 07 season, you hit the jackpot. If he repeats his 08 season, he's a bust. Gates is good, enough said.
Overall, on a scale of 1-10 I would put it at a solid 7. It's pretty good, but not over the top great in my opinion.

You obviously have a Brady man-crush. Brady is not even part of my roster and yet you mentioned him twice in your thread. You may not be able to get him, but I hear Romo is single.
I'm not even sure what "But because it's a WR, it doesn't matter, he's not a league breaking player" even refers to. I guess I'm also not understanding because neither Forte, Williams, nor Brady were game breaking the last two years. Brady didn't even play last year, Forte was playing for Tulane two years ago and Williams was mediocre at best since his rookie year (minus the last 5 games last season). How are any of these guys game breaking for the past two years?
I'm guessing you haven't played fantasy football for more than two years. Thanks for the input, though. I think you are right on about Edwards. He's a feast or famine player that I got in the 7th round. Definitely could be a bust. No comment on Pierre Thomas? He hasn't has the NFL success that Matt Forte has had for the past two seasons, but he's pretty good, right?

This has got to be the first time I have ever been insulted while rating somebodies team.
I've been playing Fantasy Football for awhile. > 2 Years
"But because it's a WR, it doesn't matter, he's not a league breaking player" refers to the fact no WR will be a top 10 point earner unless he is breaking some TD record, and he wont be a top 25 unless he is breaking 15 td's. "League breaking = Brady in 2007". No WR will determine whether or not you will win a league, they just don't get enough points.
Brady best QB (best player) two years ago Williams best RB (should have been league MVP) one year ago put it together, and you should be able to figure out who I think will be the best RB (maybe best player, even though some QB's will obviously get more points) this year... (Forte)
I missed Thomas. But, w/ Drew under center, and a RB by committee, I can't see him having a monster year.
All the players I mentioned who are not on your team, were mentioned to detour you from thinking of me as a total pessimist, I only trust a few players to succeed regardless. The rest are hit or miss, regardless of what their fantasy ranking is.
