Keeper Help

Postby jk1nole » Fri Aug 21, 2009 9:10 pm

I can keep 3 players.... My top 4 are Warner, Barber, Fitzgerald, and Gore. I am obviously keeping Gore and Fitzgerald. But, who should it be between Warner and Barber?

We start 2 QB's, 2 RB's, 2 WR's, 1 Flex, 1 TE, DEF, K. It is a 10 team league. I have the 8th pick.

Passing TDs =4, Rushing TDs =6, Rec TD =6. Bonus points for receptions, passing yards, rec yards, and rushing yards.

It should also be important to note that this is the final contract year for Barber, Gore, and Fitzgerald. I am leaning towards Warner since I would have a top 5 QB and we need to start 2.

Thanks for the help.

Wrong forum, but no big deal. I would keep Warner and make sure I got Leinhart.

Barber.

Warner is too old. Leinart is no sure thing.

I did some predraft work by seeing what other players will keep and let go.

If I keep Warner I think a couple of the following RBs will be there when I draft.... Barber (unlikely), L Johnson, D Ward, R Brown, R Grant, Lynch, McFadden

If I keep Barber I think the following QBs or WRs will be there... Cutler, McNabb, Ryan, Palmer, Hasselbeck, Housh, Ocho, Roy Williams.

Seems there will be a bigger drop in QBs and I need two of them. Any other opinions are appreciated. Also, is Gore that much better than Barber? I traded a 4th round pick to get him. Or did I make a dumb move?

I'd keep Warner. This is my first year playing a 2QB starter league, but my research concludes there is equal (if not more) emphasis on QB role because of limited quantities and such huge number producers.
