no way i take that trade. The only players on his squad I'd want is: MJD, Steve Smith (as long as it's the CAR Smith) and of course AJ. If you can't net 2 of those guys for AD, I'd simply move on.

please help:

I like trying to get MJD/AJ for AD, but I see he wisely passed on that offer. The offer he countered with is garbage. You could just make it simple by telling him you need MJD plus a top WR back...it's tough to deal in the preseason.

Thanks for the help on mine.

this is about the closest we have gotten yet...

i give: AP/Avery/Lynch
i get: MJD/Steve Smith/choice between Favre, Vick, Hester, Harvin

i MIGHT be able to get Bush out of him instead of one of the other 4... is that worth it?

or he also said this"

i give: AP/Jennings
i get: MJD/Steve Smith/Berrian (may be able to get Bush instead of Berrian also)

either one of those worth it?

That last trade scenario looks like a wash. It could go either way. I am just concerned about MJD's ability to take on a full load. That, coupled with AP's insanely easy schedule. I'd keep AP unless he gave up quite a bit more than that.

Thanks for the help.

Personally I would hate to give up AP....but I'm from OK and enjoyed the hell out of him while here. I think he's the real deal and we've all seen how explosive he can be. Perhaps my "value" of him is overrated, but I think he's the #1 overall pick for a reason. I would need a great deal to pry him loose.

That being said, I would consider this if I were you:

You give: AP/Avery/Lynch
You get: MJD/AJ

That would be the ideal scenario for a trade involving AP. Would not take less.

guy says 'he will NOT trade AJ for anything' so ruling out AJ should i try a deal or no? i personally love AJ, but i really like Steve Smith also, im not LOOKING to move AP its just this guy will do just about anything to get a deal done for him, aside from trading AJ... ill post his roster and see if there is anything i should try...

HIS:
QB-McNabb, Vick, Favre
RB-MJD, Julius Jones, Reggie Bush
WR-AJ, Steve Smith, Bernard Berrian, Percy Harvin, Devin Hester
TE-Kellen Winslow, Jeremy Shockey
K-Kasay
DEF-Philly, Tampa
IDP-Will Blackman, Jon Alston, Kelly Gregg

MINE:
QB-Matt Schaub, Jason Campbell
RB-AP, Pierre Thomas, Fred Jackson, Marshawn Lynch, Ray Rice, Domini Rhodes
WR-Randy Moss, Greg Jennings, Donnie Avery, Chris Chambers, Crabtree, Nate Washington
TE-Zach Miller
K-Elam
DEF-Tennessee
IDP-Jerod Mayo (will have to open up 2 roster spots to fill the last 2 IDP Slots)

i really like MJD, AJ and Steve Smith... would also welcome the upgrades of McNabb, JJ, Bush, Berrian and Hester...

anything you see we can do?

If i was trading AP i would def need to get MJD and S.Smith in return seeing how he wont part ways with AJ. That being said i dont see Berrian or Hester being much of an upgrade to warrant getting in a trade especially since you already have to clear up 2 roster spots for IDP players. So that being said i would simply try to package a Rice/Crabtree with AP for MJD and Smith if he doesnt go for that id sit on AP for a while and let him sweat it out. I see his team needing a trade alot more than i do yours! To give away the best player in FF you better be getting studs in return and hes already eliminating one of his in AJ that he could use to pull the trade off.

he said his final offer and he will do this:

I Give: AP/Donnie Avery/Ray Rice
I Get: MJD/Steve Smith
or
I Give: AP
I Get: MJD/and either Harvin, Hester or Berrian

start 3 WR and 2 RB with a Flex

roster with the first trade would be:
my WR core would start then: Randy Moss, Greg Jennings, Steve Smith
my RB core would start then: MJD, Pierre Thomas
my Flex would start then: Fred Jackson/Marshawn Lynch (after 3 Game suspension)
BN WR: Chris Chambers, Michael Crabtree, Nate Washington
BN RB: Fred Jackson/Marshawn Lynch, Dominic Rhodes (who i may dump for a FA RB)

available RB: Ricky Williams, Jerrious Norwood, TJ Duckett, Buckhalter, Fargas, Jamaal Charles, Michael Bush, Kevin Faulk, Tashard Choice...

do it?

i would hold on to AP due to your scoring system. I could see Peterson getting alot more 100+ yrd games then MJD. MJD may get more tds but in your scoring system that isnt ranked highly.

I would try to get AJ for Jennings and someone, AJ should beast it in the yardage bonuses
