That's a tough call. You have 2 good WR's and 2 good RB's so put in those 4 slots, and TO would be a bench anyway unless you have a bye week. You're not really gaining anything with the trade. TO is definitely a better player to have on a bench if Smith or AJ aren't starting one week, or one of your backs isn't doing that well.
any ideas on what level of RB, I would have to say YES for T.O.? To me(probably wrong) but out side of AP,MJD,Forte,LT maybe Deangelo and SJAx// TO will score more in a PPR in the Flex position since I only have to start 1RB(D ward )
Grant may turn out to be GREAT value for TO but it depends. it all depends on if TO is REALLY injured or just the typical 'pre season injury' so that he doesn't have to practice or play. but if it is a legit injury and a certain toe injury that Gates and LT have previously had it will drop his production in a serious way, if he can even play through it. i would try for a bit more then Grant right NOW, RBs i would definitely take for TO: MB3, Portis, Jacobs, Slaton, Gore, Johnson and of course AP, Turner, LT, MJD, DWill, Forte and Westy. i would question Pierre Thomas but may take PT for TO, but any of those backs i listed it would take in a heartbeat for TO. even if it doesn't 100% pan out for you you still have AJ, Smith and TJ Housh who i think got an upgrade going to Seattle with Hasselbeck. any of those backs would work, but if TO looks to be slipping i would take anything above Grant (Grant included) for TO...
Actually, I WOULD do this deal in a heartbeat. TO in a new city, new system, at best a marginal QB in Edwards, weather will be a problem, Buffalo has their shrae of serious fluky injuries I'd stay away, make the deal. Sell high, buy low.
I make this deal. I think Grant is a better start than Ward (even in PPR where it is closer). You have too much depth to play at WR, even though you should go 3WR-1RB. I also have Grant and Owens scoring a similar amount of fantasy points.
