Critique My Draft - CBS Platinum League

Postby Skill » Sat Aug 22, 2009 12:59 pm

Howdy all,

Tell me what you think of this group... Drafted first, but still had quite a few receivers left at the 2-3 turn. Regular 12 team flex league. Not a PPR league. All TDs = 6
25yds passing per point, 10 yards rushing/receiving per point.

QBs: Donovan McNabb, Brady Quinn (plays Bengals wk 4 during McNabb's bye)

RBs: Adrian Peterson, Derrick Ward, Felix Jones, Chester Taylor

WRs: Steve Smith, Roddy White, Lee Evans, Antonio Bryant, Santana Moss

TE: Dustin Keller (Boiler Up!)

K: Nate Kaeding

DEF: Chargers

You have a good set of WRs. Your RB corps is lacking a bit of depth. Ward maybe sharing splitting carries with Graham and Felix and Chestor are mainly handcuffs. I think your team maybe decent and depends a lot on Ward's and McNabb's performance.

I wont lie. Your team would be way better if it was ppr. Bush non ppr no thanks. ward isnt the goal line back he is good for ppr leagues. Mcnabb will be fine but he will lose a few tds to vick gimmick plays inside the 20.
Brady quinn wont win the starting job.

If i was use i package steve smith and ward and go get you a studd rb...lee evans and bryant will be fine.

package smith and ward and go get you a rb such as portis, jacobs huge non ppr, slaton, chris johnson, or gore steve jackson

or if they dont bite trade ward and lee evans and targetr rbs such as kevin smith, ryan grant or mcfadden...

I think you should have grabbed a better backup QB for the injury-prone McNabb, but during the time he DOES play I think he will be very good. Your WR's are very good, think I would package one of them though for an upgrade at your #2 RB spot (or an upgrade at backup QB). Rate mine?
