I have the third pick in the keeper, my keepers are Chris Johnson and Marion Barber (lose my 2nd and 14th pick) and here are my options, 10 team, non PPR:
Trade my third pick for Brees and get: QB:Drew Brees RB:Marion Barber RB:Chris Johnson
Or keep the third pick and go: RB:Steven Jackson RB:Chris Johnson RB:Marion Barber
(I know the first two going are Adrian and Slaton)
Stacked RB corps or two solid backs and a great QB?
If I didn't go with Brees I would probably snag Romo.
This is a tough one considering what Jackson could be and what he has been. I like Brees in your situation because of the other 2 running backs you already have. I am not sure what kind of QB's would be available in a league like this anyways. I think Brees has a better year than Jackson.

I like the romo/sjax over brees/jjones if there is a flex spot.
I can start up to 3 RBs, 1 QB, 3 WRs and a TE. TDs are 6.
I don't think Steven Jackson has the supporting cast to be successful this year. The Rams haven't looked good at all in Preseason, while Brees has looked great. I would take Brees and grab a guy like Pierre Thomas.
Conventional wisdom would say that if you can start three backs, take Jackson. I would probably take Brees, but I have a tendency to go big. It doesn't always work.
