16 team keeper league...

Postby Nugent4pres85 » Sat Aug 22, 2009 11:42 pm

I am trying to figure out who to keep in my 16 team keeper league. You start 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 DST. Here is the scoring:
For quarterbacks it is -2 points for an INT, 6 for a TD, and .05 points for 1 passing yard.
For running backs it is 6 points for a passing, recieving, or rushing TD, .1 for every 1 recieving yard, and .1 for every rushing yard.
For wide recievers it is the same as running backs except it is 1 point for each reception.
For tight ends it is .135 for every recieving yard and 1.35 for a reception.
Here is my team:
QB: Kurt Warner
RB: Ronnie Brown
RB: Ryan Grant
WR: Greg Jennings
WR: Wes Welker
TE: Dallas Clark
Any help would be much, much appreciated. Thank you!

how many keepers? and i guess you don't get 1 PPR for RBs? given those ill just rank your team in terms of keepers...

Jennings
Grant
Warner
Clark
Welker
Brown

the PPR and Jennings value as a top 10 WR regardless makes him #1... i love keeping RB but in your scoring system seems like QBs could be a tad more valuable. Brown is ranked so low because (as a Phins fan) i think he will have a good year, but the scoring doesn't favor him more then the players you have at other positions and Ricky will still steal carries at least this year. i like Grant, and given the ending of last year he could be a darkhorse because many people are down on him a bit for some reason? but i like Jennings/Grant as 1/2 because i still think, even in this scoring system, that you need to have big RBs... hope this helps, good luck!

help me out...2nd page...

I would say to keep Jennings and Welker but I don't like the fact of keeping 2 WR's so.....(even though you get the 1 point per reception and Welker/Jennings are good for a handful of receptions per game)

I would also say to keep Warner (plus QB's get that .05 per passing yard so you figure 15 points for an average of 300 yards + the TD's but I think other QB's will be available who will put up good #'s as well)......this leaves me to getting the standard RB/WR combo which is good so you can have a good WR/RB and get your other positions later which won't be too much of a droppoff from Warner(QB), Clark (TE), etc....

I would have to agree here with Bazzy and go with Jennings and Grant. Jennings is a beast and will be for years whether it's PPR or not and Grant I think will break out this season and be good to go for a while. GB is just a really "High Powered" offense and it doesn't look like they will slow down anytime soon!

Good Luck!
