Took Brady at 1 and Moss at 2: How did it work out? WHIR

Postby joejlitz » Sun Aug 23, 2009 10:09 am

So I just did a 10-team mock to see how the Brady-Moss combo would work out and I don't know whether or not if was a good idea given what is left over. I feel like I got some question marks at RB and WR as a result. Obviously, there is a million ways to play it out, but this is what I came up with:
Standard scoring; No PPR.

QB: Brady (1.9)
RB: K. Smith (3); Grant (4)
WR: Moss (2); Edwards (6)
Flex: Holt (8)
TE: Witten (5)
DST: NYJ (13)
K: Gould (16)

Bench:
QB: Palmer (10)
RB: Moreno (7), Sproles (9), F. Taylor (12), S. Greene (14)
WR: Curtis (11), S. Smith (15)

Leave a link. WHIR.

This is why I don't like taking QBs that early.

Your RB1 should be a RB2, your RB2 should be a backup, and your backups should be late round fliers. Taking a QB that early just kills your RB situation.

Moss in the 2nd round isn't a bad idea, but Brady in the first and Moss in the 2nd is in my opinion.

Give me your opinion on my team...

I actually like you team for the most part. Brady & Moss are elite at their positions. Smith is going to surprise people in my estimation. Grant at RB2 is suspect as I see him as a bye week fill in. I would start Moreno over Grant or try to move Grant & Moreno for a better RB2.

Please rate my draft.
