need expert advice league w/ Flex (qb,rb,wr) draft strategy

Postby POPCORN1 » Sun Aug 23, 2009 11:12 am

First time I've played in this league and noticed the Flex spot is (qb,wr,rb)
My question is how will this effect my drafting strategy ? My initial thought is the QB position becomes much more valuable...thoughts ?

non ppr League
1-QB
2-RB
2-WR
1-FLEX (QB,RB,WR)
1-TE
1-K
1-D
Lotta ins, lotta outs, lotta what-have-yous

You have to draft 2 qbs much earlier. 1 qb in the 1st 2-3 rounds. 2nd qb in the 4th or 5th round. And the backup qb around 8-11.

Have fun.

The rounds will be dictated by the number of owners in the league.

What's the QB scoring? If it's basic with no pts/compl and 4-5pt tds then go with DeAngelo, Slaton, Gore if they're there. If not then go with Fitz, AJ or Moss in that order. With 2 QBs starting the importance of RBs in the 1st round is minimized especially from the 9th spot. If the scoring favors QBs then you could even grab Brees/Brady in the 1st and not lose any sleep. If you opt to go QB in the 1st then you could spend rounds 2-4 grabbing the best WR or RBs. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=441033
