Keeper league help!! WHIR!

Postby suki7474 » Sun Aug 23, 2009 11:45 am

In a 12 team keeper league. keep 3 players but players have draft value points and you lose the round that the player is drafted in. HEre are possible keepers
I get 3 draft value points so I can add those to players so i give them up in a later . The league im is .5 ppr, 6pts for all tds.

Heres possible keepers

Larry Johnson-llose 3rd round (would most likely add pts to him depends on his situation)
Greg Jennings- lose 5th round
Roddy White-lose 6th round
Derrick Ward- 9th round (wished he would of went to a better situation but could steal starting rb role over graham maybe)
Ray Rice-10th round (has most upside but crowded backfield)
Matt Schaub- Lose 9th round pick

Jennings and WHite seem like no brainers but I need help with my final keeper. I really think Derrick Ward can have a breakout year this year. Do I keep him or take a chance on Matt Schaub who can be a top 5 qb. Another option is keeping Rice but I could most likely draft him at a decent spot.

Another option. Should I try to make a trade to upgrade at rb and get Westbrook or Ronnie Brown?

In this situation I would go with Ward. The spot youd be taking him in is good value, and unless every other team keeps a qb, you can probably do a little better than Schaub

please help

I think Ward will get his and is another no brainer for that round. Earnest Graham is a career backup imo.
