10th pick in a 10 teamer. WHIR!

10 team Yahoo!H2H league. PPR = .5 pt, All TDs = 6 pts, everything else standard. Starting positions: 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1W/R/T, 1TE, 1K, 1D/ST

I had the 10th pick in the snake draft. (#) = round drafted.

QB: A. Rodgers (4), P. Rivers (5)
RB: D. Williams (1), F. Gore (2), D. Ward (7), L. White (8), A. Bradshaw (12), F. Jackson (13), T. Hightower (15)
WR: W. Welker (3), V. Jackson (6), D. Driver (9), S. Breaston (10), D. Hester (11),
TE: Z. Miller (14) <- already on waivers to pick up J. Carlson
K: M. Crosby (16)
D/ST: New Orleans (17) <- play Detroit week 1. D/STs still available are Dallas, Indy, TB, NE, Sea

I absolutely love this team. Don't ask me how Williams and Gore both fell to me... I went a little unconventional in rounds 5 and 6 and took Phillip Rivers and Vincent Jackson because I didn't like anyone else on the board and they seemed like great value. I know him and Rodgers both have the same bye week so my plan is to deal him to improve my WR and TE positions. Maybe even get a better D/ST but I'm planning on just playing matchups.

RBs: I'm not big on Williams but you can hardly pass him up at 10. And the Gore pick is super standard IMO. Ward and Lendale are great backups. Jackson ain't bad for the first 3 games and Hightower could see a lot of minutes(and even more TDs) now that Wells is hurt.

QBs: You can't start a QB at your flex right? Rodgers is a solid pick in round 4. I really don't like the backup QB at 5. Especially Rivers who I think won't repeat last year since their D will hopefully keep them in games this year(and if LT is stays healthy they're just giving the ball to him mostly). I think you could of waited a while and gotten a decent 2nd QB.

WRs: Welker should be great in any PPR league. Not high on VJax, but not a bad pickup in round 6. Driver is a solid pick. And I like the Hester pick at 11. Not really big on Breaston other than as a handcuff to Boldin/Fitz. I think you'll probably use Hester more then him.

TE: TE's are deep so waiting is the right play. And you definitely got a sleeper in Miller.

Overall: B+

Love your RBs, and like the WRs, but only because of .5 PPR. Could use some improvement there. I agree with the previous post about a backup QB taken back-to-back rounds. Other than that, its a solid team. Good luck this season.

You got a lot of good value, I think you need to be active in the trade market to maximize that value in your starting lineup.
try to package Rivers for a number one receiver. If you could ship him and another for someone like Marshall, White, Colston, Bowe etc that would be ideal.

Personally I like Miller over Carlson, but thats splitting hairs.
