Draft Strategy...10 Team PPR

Postby eaglesfan » Sun Aug 23, 2009 1:39 pm

How do you think I should approach my draft? I'm thinking RB/WR/RB if I have a early pick and RB/RB/WR if I have later one. Also do you think I should wait on a QB and TE this year? Seems to be a lot of depth there.

Thanks

You can't go into the draft with a set plan. Rank your players and take the player with the best value at that pick.
A win next week and all is forgotten.

10teamPPR, but what are you starting 1-QB,TE,DST,Flex 2-RB,WR?

You need to play off what the other guys are drafting. If you are playing 2/2+flex go with who you think is going to be the best RB/WR. If its 2/3+flex think about a WR if you are in the later part of the 1st then pick up a RB when it gets back around in the 2nd

Try going to http://fantasyfootballcalculator.com/ they have mock-drafts all day and you can choose which position you want etc. Play around and find something you like

Agreed. Don't commit to anything. I usually try for the big back first, then decide between RB/WR in the 2nd depending on where I think the biggest drop off will be before the pick in the third.

If you are picking late, you can consider WR/WR out of the gate. That will pretty much lock up that position for you. But then you HAVE to go RB with at least the next three picks. I have succeeded doing this. But I've also bombed with it. But it's an idea.

Help with mine?
