14 Team League - TD Scoring - 7th Round - Guide Me!

Postby Remotethumb » Sun Aug 23, 2009 5:06 pm

start 1 qb, 1 rb, 1 wr, 1 te, 1 k, 3 idp, 3 flex (WR/RB/TE)
....6 pts. pass, run, catch TD.....
1 pt. each 50 yds. pass
1 pt. each 25 yds. rush
1 pt. each 25 yds. receiving

7th round, my finalists are
RB - Ahmad Bradshaw, Earnest graham, Fred taylor, Julius Jones or le'Ron McClain

WR-Lee Evans, Santana Moss, Santonio holmes, Kevin Walter, Driver, Cotchery,Holt

Considering that this is pretty much a TD league, who will get the most scoring chances?

My team -
qb P Manning
rb Kevin Smith
WR Boldin
TE
K
IDP1
idp2
idp3
Flex1 Pierre Thomas
Flex2 Ray Rice
Flex3Roy Williams

BN
none

I hate scoring systems like this, I have no idea why anybody plays them.
That said if you're looking strictly for TD's I guess I'd go with McClain. Though when Jacobs goes down Bradshaw is going to get a lot of workload

Julius is going to get a lot of work and wont be looking at 8 man boxes, Mclain will get all the goal =line carriws at baltimore. Those are your best choices

Taylor
Bradshaw

Driver is will be a solid TD wr. Bank it.

I think I like Driver here.

Well you have all of your starters in so far, so now you need to build your bench. I would look at the rb's normally and tell you to take Jones, he is the only starter left, but W. Jones is out indefinitely and there starting center is out for the year, not good for that offense with the o-line already that messed up. I actually think I would go with Cotchery here or Evans. Cotch is the #1 in NY and Evans should benefit from TO being opposite of him. good luck.
