It seems fairly straight forward for me, Id go with Hester/Benson. Hester is sure to have better numbers this year with Cutler (maybe not stellar, but better than previous years at the very least) and Harvin is a rookie... he may be good down the road, but rookie WRs rarely do well. Benson is not at the center of a RBBC, while Moreno is not only in a crowded RBBC backfield but also has been plagued by injuries so far this preseason and McDaniels' offense is likely to limit his carries even further.
Oh wow. This is a doozy. I like the upside of Moreno and Harvin much more than Hester and Benson. Moreno has the chance to be a top 10 or 15 RB in Denver and Harvin now has the gun-slinging arm of Favre throwing to him. I like Moreno and Harvin
I thought it was an interesting trade when I read the thread title involving just Harvin and Hester and figured it was slightly in the favor of Hester given that I like Cutler a lot more getting him the ball then Favre. I also like that Hester is likely the number 1 in Chicago where Harvin is behind at least Berrian and perhaps Sidney Rice. When I see that the "secondary" pieces are Cedric Benson and Knowshon Moreno I think the scale tips well in the favor of the Harvin/Moreno side. Though Moreno has been dinged up, and has other backs in the mix in Denver, none of those other backs are particularly good (Lamont Jordan, Correll Buckhalter, Peyton Hillis, etc.). Cedric Benson is at best mediocre and like a RB3 or RB4. Moreno's upside is for so much more even out of the gates. Also bc it's a PPR he'll have a lot of value given Orton's tendency to check down (look at the reception totals for Matt Forte last year). I think Moreno is the best player in the deal, I'd take him and Harvin and anything Harvin gives is gravy. Good luck.
What is the rest of your lineup? I think the potential of Moreno might win out depending on who you need to come through for you this year. If you are depending on both players, the Benson/Hester side is much safer (since Harvin is not likely to help much in a redraft) since they are 2 players at the top of the depth chart. However, if you are talking about just trading bench players, I say you take the chance that Moreno will be the best player out of the bunch.
In that case, I would probably go with Moreno/Harvin. Since you arent really depending on anyone in the trade, you might as well go for the biggest up-side.
