Pretty Big RB Trade

Ok so I am in a 12 team league where you can keep 1 player of any kind each year. This year I kept Moss and had a late pick, and due to the lack of RB's I took Calvin Johnson with my 2nd pick and decided to try to get some sleeper RB's. (By the way our scoring is 25 pass yds is a point, 10 rush/rec. yds is a point, NO PPR, all touchdowns are 6, and a 3 point bonus for each RB/WR with 100 yds. and each QB with 300 yds.)

With that being said

I was offered a trade in which I would give up Moss, Lendale White, and Ray Rice (who is on my bench) for Ronnie Brown, Clinton Portis, and Lance Moore.

My other recievers are Calvin Johnson, OchoCinco, and Eddie Royal, which IMO I would start any of the three...and my RB's are weak with Derrick Ward, Lendale white, then Ray Rice.


SO is this a no brainer to me? or am I missing something here

Moss will have another big year, but I think that White is primed for another big season. He is in a contract year, lost a bunch of weight and wants the big payday, so he should be primed for a big season. I think that you do have the depth at wr to make this move, but not sure if you really need to make it. If Portis stays healthy and Brown rebounds to his 07' form before his knee injury then you would have two quality rb's and still be deep at wr. I would try and sub Ward for White and see if he goes for it, if not then I think this will work for you. Good luck.

Hmmmmmmm.....I like the trade but I just don't think this is the right trade for you.....too many players involved also!

I like Ward and Rice ALOT this year and like the other poster said L.White is looking good? (not sure since I don't like White and haven't kept tabs on him but I'll take the other posters word on it)

I too beleive Moss will be monsterous this year and so let's really take a look at your team for a minute and see other possibilities!

D.Ward (should be a mini Turner this year), White (other guy said it), Rice (should be elite and the starter depending on McGahee but it's all a matter of time before McGahee crashes and burns for the season)!......No real "Top" RB but I think you can work something out of this.

Moss, CJ, Ocho, Royal.....I think all are in for a nice year and although you could get good money from Moss and still be great at WR I think you try trading Ocho or Royal

I would maybe add Rice or White and combine them with Royal or Ocho to upgrade at RB there. (maybe to the McGahee or CJ owner), if it must be with this person then try a combo of who they want (Rice or White and Ocho or Royal) and get at least R.Brown and go from there.

(IMO though....I would trade White and Ocho as I have more faith in Rice this year and with B.Marsh on the Fitz or with him playing I feel Royal will be great to own this year.....nothing against Ocho but he too has his problems and the fact Palmer is banged up yet again and Henry is shining I just feel Royal will be the better of the 2)

I would not do this trade......

I like L White and Moss more than anyone else in the trade and Rice has potential.....

Portis - has been consistent but something about him has me nervous....
R brown - Again just don't like him and Miami is going to have a rough year...
L moore - he's ok.....

But i think you loose at both positions....so I would not do it.....stand pat....
