Thanks for your help. If you haven't already decided let me just make you feel more comfortable about pulling the trigger on this trade. It really is unfortunate to lose Schaub because Houston is going to have one of the better offenses this year. But all things considered, you have to make this deal. Don't feel so bad about Cassel and Delhomme though. They both have some weapons and with Cassel losing Tony Gonzalez at TE. I like this trade for you.

Wait and see if you can land Favre or Leftwich. You can't just put in a waiver claim for Favre?? Don't trade Schaub for those two right now, you'll probably regret making this move with a couple other options out there. I would recommend possibly making a deal for a Shaun Hill or Jason Campbell, they likely have low price tags especially if they are a teams 3rd qb. This is a panic move right now and like I said before, this guy will accept this trade at a later time also since it is a great deal for him.

I agree with the guy below I think to wait because this trade will still be there in a few weeks. But I didn't understand what you said here "Don't feel so bad about Cassel and Delhomme though. They both have some weapons and with Cassel losing Tony Gonzalez at TE".
Shouldn't I feel bad about Cassel BECAUSE he lost TGonz???

The guy who owns Bulger also owns Hill and he also has Hasselbeck, Collins and Russell. I want no part of Collins or Russel and he probably over values Hasselbeck.

What should I offer him for Hill, like, realistically a deal he would accept? Chad Johnson? Antonio Bryant and Cedric Griffin?

Also, the guy who owns Jason Campbell has Brees (2nd overall obviously not being traded) but also has Campbell and Quinn. What would you give up for these 2?

I think you should hold out. The guy will still make this deal with you after Sep. 7th. There is no reason to not hold out and hope for the best by getting Favre. Besides, by then after a couple more preseason games some injuries might present some more opportunities. Bottom line, its a good deal for him (but a necessary deal for you) and will still be available if you cannot get Favre.

i wuold keep schaub since hes better than cassell. I would look for waiver wire for qb. theres always one that emerge during the season anyway. You can also take a gamble on sanchez or stafford.

I would do the trade... unless ANY starting QB is available on the WW. Including Leftwich, etc. all the scrubs.

If no one is then pull the trigger I like Cassel this year and you need Delhomme.

It's a necessary trade, though a bad one for you. Who knows, maybe Cassel will do well and Schuab will get injured again.
