Philip Rivers or Matt Ryan

I am taking one of them as my QB in my five man keeper league. Rivers seems like the obvious choice, but many are predicting a drop off for him. Meanwhile Atlanta looked awesome last week.

Should I stick with Rivers?

I think Ryan will get a good bump in stats this year with his new weapon at TE, however I think Rivers, even with a slight drop from last year, still outperforms Ryan THIS year. Now, being that it's a keeper, Ryan looks to be a top 5 QB in upcoming seasons, maybe even top 3. Rivers IMO also falls into that category.

Since it's a keeper league I think you could flip a coin on this one and be happy either way. Rivers should have better numbers than Ryan this year however. Future looks bright for both.

I agree. The lowest projection I've seen for Rivers is 25 TD's. If that is his floor that's still very good. If Ryan takes a significant jump this year I see his ceiling at about 26 TD's. So to my way of thinking Rivers floor is Ryan's ceiling. At least this year.

My gut tells me Rivers throws about 28 and Ryan 23 TD's.

Rivers all the way. He is top 5 guy that will put up more TD and yards than Ryan.
