Im considering picking Gore with my # 5 pick in my PPR 12 team $$ league ..Is this crazy??
Just read this on CBS Sportsline today as well.
Fantasy players who haven't yet drafted might want to consider RB Frank Gore for a mid first-round pick. "Frank is our number one playmaker," said 49ers coach Mike Singletary. "We want to get the ball in his hands as much as possible." Gore has had an outstanding camp.
Could this be a 2006 season for Gore?

I would take LT over Gore in this spot all day if he is there! I would probably say the same about Sjax, but LT is ranked #3 in my ppr rankings.

Every RB this yr has their risk. the number 5 spot is porb. the hardest to draft at. It is nice to get a guy who is not in a RBBC and Gore will catch alot of balls. I do not think you will be disappointed with Gore so if you really like him grab him, just make sure you get Coffey as well.
I would put Gore/SJax/LT all at about the same risk reward. They all have he potential to be the top RB by year end.

I have the same exact pick as you and I have even thought about going WR/WR the first two rounds. Although I would like to grab a top WR I am either going to go with Gore or LT. I am interested in hearing more thoughts on this myself. This is the HARDEST pick in the draft IMO.

i agree 5 is one of the toughest spots to draft at...
if your league allows trades i would try to trade down and trade up in another round. u can get gore/sjax/lt at the 8th pick most likely. i would even consider taking either Fitz or Andre at that pick. At your second round pick most likely either Slaton, Gore, Chris Johnson, or DeAngelo will fall to you.
