But two starts out of McCoy will not help your team. Pierre Thomas was everyone's star heading into drafts, but now he has an MCL sprain and is questionable for week 1.

Barber will return to a more effective role this year as the goal-line RB in a RBBC. In 2006, he had 14 TD's on just 135 carries when he shared time with Julius Jones.

Moss will have a great year, but so should Colston. Both are #1 WR's on prolific offenses with great QB's. Moss could outscore Colston by 3 points per Fantasy game. But Barber should get an average of 10 points per Fantasy game.

Do the math; you're getting 7 more points per week on average because of this deal, and you're geting two starters for one. I'd do this deal if I were you.

well he is giving me until Monday to decided. I have alot of thinking and researching to do...

I would absolutely do this deal in a heartbeat!!!

So what if MBIII loses some carries this year to Felix??? He will still be an awesome top RB and worse case scenerio is you turn around and get somebody else for him (mainly to the guy who has F. Jones)

Basically Moss and Colston are close.....I love Moss this year (especially after the recent preseason game.....90yrds 2 TD's)....can you say "Monster year"???? But Colston is no slouch and as well is a top 10 if not 5 WR!

You basically got MBIII for free which you could turn around and get another top 10 WR if you wanted to.

Good Job!!!

I wouldn't do this, I think the first offer you received was much better. Your WR corps take a big hit with this trade....

Personally, I would rather have MBIII and Colston over Dwill and R.Williams. I think Colston will have a top 10 season and push to make the top 5. MBIII may not be far off of Dwill at seasons end. Both are in time shares. Due to the fact you are also throwing in Olsen in this deal makes it even less desirable to me.

Beatdown, you've been given some great advice throughout this thread and you've ignored it every time so I really don't know why I'm even bothering but I will add my 2 cents anyways. You SHOUD have done the first deal. It was a solid deal and your WEEKLY average points from your starters would have likely improved with the trade.

Brady is coming off reconstructive knee surgery (and yes, that IS what he had done, I had the same thing done) and there is no way in hell he's even close too 100%, especially in his head. I watched him throw in games in the pre-season and yes he's still babying that knee. It will be in the back of his mind this entire season and it WILL affect Moss' production some (maybe not a lot but he won't run away from guys like Closton like he might with a healthy Brady). Second, if you DON'T make that trade then you had damned well better hope to GOD that McFadden DOES have a breakout year because the rest of your RB's are considered absolute junk as weekly starters. McCoy??? Are you kidding me??? Westy will be listed as "OUT" for 3 games this year, he'll play just 1 quarter in about 3 more and the rest he'll get 90% of the workload, healthy or hurt, it doesn't matter. Are you SERIOUSLY going to start McCoy for any game OTHER than the 3 or so that Westy will be listed as out BEFORE the game starts in hopes that Westy gets hurt and McCoy gets the rock??? If you do that then you will be playing with just one RB for 10+ games this season and that's a sure fire recipe to blow your season. Thomas??? Good luck with that. I'd say you have less than a 50% chance of him seeing enough of the workload to make him a viable starter but hey, keep turning down trade offers and roll the dice. McClain is currently the #3 RB in Balt so I wouldn't count on anything from him unless Rice and McGahee BOTH go down for the season.

This new proposal really sucks. Roy Williams isn't nearly as good as Colston (who has probably the best QB this seaso throwing to him mind you) and don't bet on DW coming close to matching his numbers from last season. Pro tip for you here, last season the Panthers faced by far the easiest schedule for RB's, they faced MANY poor run defenses and that really helped DW's stats. He typically wasn't very effective last year when he faced a good run defense but he absolutely lit up the poor ones, I know becasue I picked him last year and eeryone laughed at me (but I laughed all the way to the bank with a 3rd place finish). THIS year the Panthers face one of the toughest schedules for RB's facing 6 teams with very good to excellent run defenses and they face only 1 team with a poor run defense. Don't expect DW to come anywhere close to his numbers from last year, it's just not in the cards for this season.

You've asked for advice and the majority of the people have said to do the 1st deal and you;ve ignored that advice twice already (turning down the offered deal twice). Why would you ask for advice, get overwhelming support for DOING the trade (and based on sound reasoning I might add) and then completely ignor that advice??? If you weren't going to do it anyways then why even bother asking for other peoples opinions and advice and why bother bumping the thread when you keep ignoring the same advice??? Do you just want a few more people to pat you on the back and tell you that you did right by declining??? Get a dog if you want someone to be your unconditional friend.

I swear, not much pisses me off but when someone asks for advice TWICE and completely ignores that advice TWICE then I do get a little upset. Stop wasting our time when our advice CLEARLY isn't important to you. There are other people out there who actually NEED our advice and imput. Thse people actually NEED to have others look at their situation from another side to help clarify things for them. It's obvious that you think you've looked at this from every side already and know the answer you are going with. Enjoy starting McCoy every week, you won't have anyone to blame but yourself for NOT doing the original deal.
