I take it you went WR/WR with the first two picks (AJ and Moss)?
Picking at the back end of a draft can be tricky. I know, until the draft I just did earlier today my best draft position ever (over 25 teams) was 6th out of 12 back in 2006. I'm pretty used to picking at the turn or right around it. That being said here's your report card:
QB's = C : Cutler has found himself in a new home without his security blanket (aka Brandon Marshall) around to help him. He may end up fulfilling all of the hopes and dreams of the Chicago faithful, but his performance so far in the preseason has not given people much hope. E. Manning is decent as a backup. Not a lot of weapons at WR for either of these two guys. Now, if Plaxico hadn't brought that handgun into the nightclub and he was still playing for the Giants, your grade might have been better here.
RB's = B- : T. Jones is getting older, and there's a new RB in town that may usurp him in the near future. R. Grant is a solid RB2 and Moreno has a huge upside but is yet unproven and has been battling some nagging, albeit not serious, injuries thus far. Sproles and Taylor can fill in on a bye week. All in all you don't really have a solid RB1 on your roster.
WR's = A : Great 1 - 2 punch with Moss and AJ but there's a steep drop in talent after that.
TE = B : Hard to grade this one, but Shiancoe had such a monster finish to last year I feel that he just may end up in the top 5 for TE's, way ahead of where he's being taken. I like this pick but looking at the rest of your roster I wonder if a guy like Gonzalez or Gates wasn't available when you were picking up E. Manning or S. Breaston. I still like Shiancoe though.
Def & K = I won't grade since I am of the school of thought that you play matchups and swap kickers and defenses weekly.
Overall Grade = B minus. Decent team but may not be Championship material. I'm not trying to be mean or anything I just think you could have done better. Like I mentioned earlier, picking at or near the turn can be tricky. You need different strategies in that spot.
