Maroney for Bradshaw?

Postby dare » Thu Aug 27, 2009 12:15 pm

I was thinking of trying to trade Laurence Maroney for Ahmad Bradshaw.
For me: As one of the better handcuffs in the league, I think it would be fortuitous to try and get Bradshaw since I have Brandon Jacobs.
For him: He has Kevin Faulk and having Maroney would secure him the likely NE backfield.

Question: Should I? or should I wait on basis of the rumor that Maroney has looked very good in camp, Bellicheck has fallen back in love with him, and he will be the main 1st and 2nd down and goal line back?

I haven't heard those rumors. Unless that's a fact I'd take Bradshaw in a heartbeat over Maroney.

Help w/mine?

I'd rather have Bradshaw. You know that Faulk is going to be in almost all of the passing situations even if Maroney has improved and I'd fully except Taylor to cut into the carries as well. Plus he's not going to get many TDs when Tom Brady throws it to Randy Moss for those short TDs :). Even without Jacobs I lean to Bradshaw but with him it's a no-brainer
