Ummmm.... that's only a difference of twenty yards, you realize.

you sure? he said over 30 yards. so we can assume 31 minimum 31*16=496
man those 4 yards are tough. almost impossible he gets it, but 496 is minimum!

Not necessarliy! What if he only plays in 5 games? 31*5= 155. He would still average ove 30 yards/gm.
I'm going to guess about 1,079 yards rushing with 7 scores and 395 yards receiving with 2 scores. Think his numbers would be much better if he was the only game in town, but I believe that Bush will probably be heard from as well. That said, I can see McFadden having a much better year than my projections if their offense can step up. I just wouldn't bet too much on that happening.
"Sometime during the Pats game last week, I decided that Tomlinson was the best overall running back of my lifetime. There's nothing he can't do: deadly receiver, tough inside runner, explosive to the outside, you name it." - ESPN's Bill Simmons
I've projected him out for 215 carries for 990 yards (4.6 ypc) and another 45 receptions for 405 yards (9 yards per reception which is pretty high) and about 8 total TDs. Solid RB2, great RB3 at the moment in my eyes.
As far as 500+ receiving yards go...it's unlikely in my eyes. It's easy to think that 30 yards receiving per game is easy to get...doesn't sound like that much but if it really was that easy for some of the great receiving backs, then why do so few do it on a regular basis? LT, who is EASILY one of the best receiving backs in the league has only done it 2 times in his entire career despite being above 50 receptions in every single season in the league. The very elite pass catching backs have been able to do it, sometimes even a few seasons but it doesn't happen frequently enough to consider that a "minimum" for a guy like McFadden who hasn't proven to do it yet.
there are a few things going against dmc that i worry about
oakland will be down jones likes the vertical game bush is bound to sneak in jamarcus really doesn't make the greatest decisions and is said to not really have a passion for fb (possibly)
preseason stats couldnt be more irrelevant... Mike Bush is like J-Stew last year, hes talented yes but the guy infront of him is waaaay more versatile and will ultimately capitalize on his carries and 'run away' (no pun intended) with the job. just like last season with DWill, im glad Bush is dropping DMCs ADP... come to think of it, i think im feeling a deja vu...
but please... keep the doubt alive and the hype train in the station please!
