I'm completely torn on who to select with my 1st pick (#5). This is a standard 12-team NON-PPR league. 6pts for all TD's, 1pt per 10yds rush/rec.

Who would you go with and why????

LT- should have a bounceback year if he stays healthy
Gore- going to be a run first team should be better than last year
SJax- health scares me away a bit, should still have a good season
Williams - still sharing a lot of time with CJ, but will be a TD vulture

I would go with either LT or DWill

LT should bounce back. In my league (PPR) he still was the 5th best back last year even with the horrendous year he had. He gets back into form and you got a #1-#2 pick with the number 5.

DWill probably won't put up 20 TD's again but the yardage and 15 TD's is not out of the question. DWill has impressed in the preseason. The line looks good. JStew is hurt. What more can you ask for.

Gore has never had 10 TD's in a season nuff said. And Read Joe LitZ's article on SJax viewtopic.php?f=18&t=440613

Who are you referring to with CJ?? D-Will may loose a few touches to Stewart, but Stewart is still hurt & who knows when he'll be back...the only CJ I know is Chris Johnson...and he's in TEN

This is how I rate these players

Jackson - feature RB, focus of offense
Gore - feature RB, focus of offense

LT - RBBC
DLo - RBBC

I also like picking Fitzgerald at the 5 spot and then trading him for two 2 round quality players. There are guys who will covet him, guaranteed.

Since when did LT enter a RBBC? You do know that Sproles only got 61 carries last season while LT had turf toe right?

Norv has stated he wants LT to have 320 carries this season. That is about 80% of the touches.....

LT is one of the few back NOT IN A RBBC!!!!!

Sproles is a backup RB and special teams player. He will not factor into LTs touches...
