Rate this team - PPR league -- WHIR

Postby bounce » Thu Aug 27, 2009 8:32 pm

Just drafted in a PPR league, and I'm pretty happy with the team, I think. Want other opinions. 10 teams - standard scoring (6 pt PA TD). I had the #5 pick.

Q - McNabb (Roethlisberger)
R - Tomlinson, Jacobs (Addai, B. Wells, Sproles)
W - Wayne, Welker (Bowe, Cotchery, E. Bennett)
T - Winslow
K - Crosby
D - Eagles

There's a flex position, so any of the guys in parenthesis can fill in. I haven't done many PPR leagues, so let me know what you think.

Leave a link. 100% replies.

very nice team except qb. mcnabb is the ultimate good when healthy play. goes double since westbrook cant stay healthy either and a ton of mcnabbs yards/tds come from "screens" to westbrook.
addai could be a horse now that brown is spelling him and wayne, welker and cotchery are ppr gold. winslow is always a bike accident away from missing a season but has the upside. not much risk except where noted and if the rest stay consistent u should be competing for ur title.

not bad. Wrs look solid but as for your rb's, LT and Jacobs are good but I dont like addai this year after being such a huge bust last year.

Looks pretty good. I like LT and Jacobs as your RB core, and Welker and Wayne will be more than adequate. Mcnabb I'm not so hot for but it was probably the best QB available after spending high picks on LT, Jacobs and Wayne + Welker. Solid backup with Addai and young talent in Wells. However, I am not sold on Winslow this year. Overall solid, you will be competing this year.

Pretyy good squad. I like your WR depth. Bowe is a great 3 and Cothery is a solid 4. I agree with the other poster's concerns about Addai which hurts you at RB. Plus Jacobs is a far worse play in PPR. He has injury concerns and he doesn't catch the ball well. I might try to trade Jacobs and Bowe or Welker for Forte if you can get him and a WR3. I think you will be okay at QB. Big Ben is a decent back-up option if McNabb gets hurt.

Looks pretty solid. I'm not so sure what kind of year Tomlinson is going to have so i like the handcuff pick with Sproles. I think a lot will depend on if Mcnabb can stay healthy.
