I loved this guy last year for his ability to pick up the 3rd down for the Eagles consistently. He had a nice game last night and while I'm not putting him on my fantasy team, I think he could make a lot of big plays for the Birds this year.

While the Eagles didn't win the Saints game, good 'ol Avant was there making plays. He made a great leaping catch on one drive, and had that excellent TD catch where he had to go down on his chest to get it. He's a great ace in the hole as far as WR's and getting 3rd downs go. Heres to hoping he keeps this trend up!

I love him. He's very reliable on 3rd down.
