It's a 12 team league.
I have the next two picks, and of course all of the top RB's are gone. Who should I take with these two picks?? Here are a few of the players that are available...what do you think? I am up for other suggestions as well, and I'll see if they are available!
RB's - Kevin Jones, Pierre Thomas, D.McFadden, Thomas Jones, M.Lynch
WR's - Steve Smith, G.Jennings, A.Boldin, M.Colston, T.O.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Do you mean Kevin Smith (not Jones?)
Anyway you cut it - you're probably in for a rough year if you didn't inherit a previous roster - you are at a distinct disadvantage.
In terms of keeper value...
RB's -
McFadden - Gamble? Sure is. But I think he is (by far) the most talented of the 5 you listed.
*Kevin Smith - Load back of a horrible team, but 1 of the corner stones of the Lion offense.
Piere Thomas - I like him more than Smith in re-drafts, but not 100% sold on his keeper value.
Marshawn Lynch - Legal issue, suspension looming, who knows if he ever really gets his act together.
Thomas Jones - Old as dirt, last year was, IMO, a fluke.
*Kevin Jones - Undraftable
WR's -
S. Smith - Stud, legit WR1.
G. Jennings - Go to WR w/ a young, talented QB getting him the ball.
M. Colston - Go to WR in a pass happy offense w/ one of the best QB's in the league getting him the ball.
A. Boldin - 2nd fiddle to Fitz, unhappy about contract, QB old as dirt.
T. Owens - Injured 35 year old WR, well past his prime playing in a new system.
