Coffee, Betts, F. Jackson, J. Harrison, or M. Bush

Need some help in figuring out who would be the best one to pick up in waiver wire who will have the most potential to be a contributor. I'm trying to figure out if one of the backups have a chance to take over b/c of starter being injury prone, or backup with the chance to take the starter's position by mid to late season. Thanks guys for any advice!

Glen Coffee-backup to injury prone Gore and even tho Gore shed some weight, you never know with the major injuries hes had.

Ladell Bettes-Portis is a old-young rb with all the carries hes had and he seems to get worn out towards the end, do you guys see him having nagging or serious injury this year?

Fred Jackson-I know hes gonna start the first three games, but once Lynch is back, I'm not sure if Jackson will get enough opportunities to put up numbers.

Jerome Harrison-There's word going around how the coaching staff is lovin the way hes playing and with Lewis (don't know why hes still starting) with all the miles he has and hes only half the running back he was with the ravens. Anybody think the team will finally realize Jamal's a has been and needs to sit on the bench?

Michael Bush-He's a great back who's in a crowded backfield and man, Mcfadden will get injured guaranteed and Fargas, well hes nothing special, but I can see Bush tearin it up if given the touches and opportunity.

I have Betts on my roster already but debating if the others are better options to have.

James Davis - RB, CLE. HE will start before any of those guys barring injury.

I'm moving this over the draft, trade waiver help. You will get more responses there.

Of the guys you have listed, I would rank them in this order;
1. Fred Jackosn: he is stating the first three games and has been a solid contributor when he has played.

2. Michael Bush: Simply due to the high probability that he will shine if given the opportunity. Even if McFadden stays healthy Bush could see some goalline work.

3. Glenn Coffee: I like his chances of getting a fair amount of playing time this season due to the opinion that Gore will not make it through the season. I do not know what to expect from him, so the unknown is why I like him more than Betts.

4. Ladell Betts: The reason i have him so low is because I do not think he is a capable back even if Portis get injured. he has had many opportunities to take the reins and has failed more times than not. Something tells me if he really were a capable back he would not still be a backup in Washington.

5. Jerome Harrison: I have no opinion of this guy so he defaults to last.

I would say Jackson 1st, he may end up with significant carries this year....

To me Davis right now is the most likely to be playing a big role after the season gets rolling. Lewis has hit the dreaded age of 30 and has a lot of wear and tear on his body. So to me by week 5 or 6 Cleveland will be out of it and will start to feature Davis and Lewis will play more of a secondary role. The next most likely rb is Bush, but it all depends on injuries with him. I think we saw what he is capable of last year in the final week when he played TB and had a monster game, and don't forget before he was injured in his senior season in college he was a top 10 pick, so he just needs a chance. Other than that the other rb's won't do much for you other than F. Jackson while starting weeks 1-3. Good luck.
