I just traded Gore and Colston for LT and Bowe. Not thrilled about losing Colston but I don't think Bowe is that much of a downgrade. Did I make the right decision?? Roster below and its a 10 team ppr league, all TDs are 6 points. Leave a link, I will definitely help you out. QB: Cutler RB: LT RB: R Brown WR: Ca Johnson WR: D Bowe WR: De Jackson FLEX (QB/RB/WR/TE): K Smith TE: G Olson DEF: Packers K: Kaeding
Bench: Rothlesberger, Garrard, B Wells, C Benson, A Bradshaw, M Bush, C Henry, D Mason
I think LT is going to rebound from his "bad" year and is going to have a better season, not back to the 20+ tds, but I can see him back to 13-14 tds this year. I think he is a slight upgrade from Gore and at the end of the year he will be slightly ahead of Gore numbers wise. With Colston he is on the league premier offense and I'm guessing he should have about 80-90 catches, 1100 yards and about 11 tds, while Bowe is going to have a bit of a down year. They will most likely be throwing the ball and playing from behind, but he is the main man and will face double teams every game. This is a close call on this one, and I think between the players traded I personally would rather have Gore and Colston.
I LOVE this trade for you. LT is much better than Gore and LT has a huge chip on his shoulder and is going to bounce back. I personally like Colston a little bit more over Bowe, but you can't go wrong with either one. Colston always gets hurt, so you don't have to worry about the injury situation every week.
I think you made the right call. I love Bowe this year, he is going to see a ton of passes this year. The thing I worry about with Colston is how much Drew Brees spreads the ball around. I think that LT has 1 more stud year left in him, so he should be an upgrade over Gore. So, I think you upgraded at both positions. Nice job
I hope you are right Ninerfan. I was thinking some of those same thoughts. I think Colston has many more people who could steal his touches which I think is worse than just being on a bad team and being the #1 and pretty much only threat. LT and Gore I think should have similar stats and I like both of these guys alot. I hope LT has another good year in him. Keep the replies coming, I would like to hear more input. Leave a link
