Ok...a QB or RB in first round???

Ok. My draft is coming up soon. Every year I pick up a RB in the first round, but I am not so impressed with this years RB group. I am picking 3rd in a 12 team league. Here is the scoring system:

Roster Positions:
QB, WR, WR, RB, RB, TE, W/R, K, DEF, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN

Scoring:

Passing Yards 25 yards per point
Passing Touchdowns 6
Interceptions -2
Rushing Yards 10 yards per point
Rushing Touchdowns 6
Receptions 1 0
Reception Yards 10 yards per point
Reception Touchdowns 6
Return Touchdowns 6
2-Point Conversions 2
Fumbles Lost -2
Offensive Fumble Return TD 6


If I have the opportunity, should I pick up Brees with my first pick? or go for an RB?

Drew Brees went #1 last night in my 12 team PPR league. Then 5 more QB's after Peterson in the first round.

I think the first 4 RB's are pretty safe bets this year, I wouldn't take a QB in the first unless its much later in the round than pick 3. If you want manning might fall to you in the second, but I don't think there is a huge difference between weekly fantasy production between QB's 3-10. Obviously Brady and Brees have a huge ceiling, but another 50td season isn't likely, good luck in your draft.

i wouldnt take a QB until late 2nd round at the earliest. take a RB and if either brees, brady, or manning is there for your 2nd pick, then i would consider it. if you take a qb with pick 3 you will regret it

Go rb. At #3 you'll most likely end up w/ forte or mjd, who are safe, solid picks. You can get a qb later in the draft for better value than rb.
