i feel like i have many good players, especially RB and might be better letting them get off to a good start before dealing for some slow-starters... but I think I should maybe throw out a few deals for another WR or QB. What do you think?
QB (start 1): Palmer WR (start 3): Boldin, Welker, Housh, K. Walter, Hester RB (2): LT, Gore, McFadden, Ward, Rice, Sproles TE (1): Winslow, Shiancoe K (1): none Def: San Diego D: J. Wilson
this is a yahoo 10 team league with pretty standard scoring. any advice is really appreciated. thanks
I really like you're team overall. The only 2 things to keep your eye on would be Palmer # 1 and Winslow..But I love the Boldin,Welker,Houz at WR and LT,Gore, Run DMC, Ward and Rice..You could always package and upgrade..
i think Shiancoe could outperform Winslow, so I feel safe there.
Since we start 3 WR i was thinking of packaging either Housh or Welker w/ one of the good RB on bench (ward? mcfadden? rice?) and trying to upgrade to a. johnson, calvin johnson, or moss...
** actually, i have offered Housh + Ward for R. White (and John Kasay just to fill the spot). no response yet from other team

I dont know that that would be enough to get AJ or Calvin or even Moss right now. I would say that if Mcfadden or Rice break out to a great start then possibly. And it would have to be with a team that was seriously hurting at RB. Like they dont have 2 or something. People are not going to be quick to trade any of those 3. Im assuming this is a redraft and not a keeper correct?

I actually know i wouldn't land one of the top 3 receivers... but i guess i'm actually targeting the next group of guys... like R. White, G. Jennings, ????? Think its best to just hold off and wait for impatient owners who will buy/sell based on early results? thanks for input
Do have QB on the bench? I think I would be more concerned about my QB then the WRs...I actually think you have decent depth at WR right now. I'd try to package a McFadden (I like your Rice more and I've got Ward/McFadden about the same) with Walters for a better QB. I don't think it would be worth trying to get even a White or a Jennings type WR with what you'd have to trade. It just really depends on what the other team are weak in...Keep it Boldin, Welker, and Housh
thanks for feedback. i was concerned about QB too, but think Palmer, if healthy, will have a good season. most teams in the league are too hesitant to trade their #1 QB, and guys like Garrard and Flacco are on waivers for bye week. i am more concerned about who i will need to drop to fill that bye spot and my kicker...
anybody else? this is my first time playing football (usually stick to baseball and basketball) and i play against my dad and three brothers... big bragging rights on the line here. any suggestions or input is appreciated. thanks.
