How Should I Feel About My First Draft?

Postby basketballmj33 » Sun Aug 30, 2009 5:47 pm

10 team ESPN league

25 pass yards, 10 receiving/rushing = 1 pt
TD=6
INT= -2
pretty standard scoring - also nonppr

Each year each team can hold over one player. If he was in the first 10 rounds, he counts as a 1st rounder. If in the 11th-16, he counts as whatever round he was taken in the next draft.

Round - Overall - Player

1. #7 - LaDanian Tomlinson (keeper round)
2. #17 - Calvin Johnson
3. #24 - Steve Smith
4. #37 - Pierre Thomas
5. #44 - Tony Gonzalez
6. #57 - Matt Schaub
7. #64 - Derrick Ward
8. #77 - Darren McFadden
9. #84 - Antonio Bryant
10. #97 - Darren Sproles
11. #104 - Eddie Royal
12. #117 - Donnie Avery
13. #124 - David Garrard
14. #137 - Dolphins D/ST
15. #144 - Percy Harvin
16. #157 - Jamal Lewis

So my team looks like (* next to starters) :

QB - Schaub*, Garrard
RB - LT*, Pierre Thomas*, Ward, McFadden, Sproles, Lewis
WR - Calvin*, Steve Smith*, Bryant, Royal, Avery
TE - Tony Gonzalez*
D - Miami*
K - Elam

I'm loving my WRs, but im so-so on my QB situation and I dont know how to feel about my RBs. Also, Miami is all over the place on different sites' rankings for defenses so I dont know if I should just play the WW or not for them. Here are some of the avail FAs

FAs:
Rackers, Gould, Carney
Scheffler, Fasano, Lee, Finley
Colts, Skins, Raiders, Seahawks, Browns
Kevin Walter, Hixon, Engram
Earnest Graham, Fred Jackson
Orton, Delhomme

Kind of intrigued by walter and hixon and orton but Im not sure if theyre worth a roster spot, and if so, who I should drop..

So what do you think..hows my team looking? Should I add any of the available players and who should i drop for them?

Thankss
