How many teams in your league and what scoring system are you using (ie. ppr, etc)?

I think the thing I would have done different would have been hold off on Warner and grab a better RB2 than fast Willie...I'm a little nervous about Warner this year...As a Cardinal fan I know, that last year was an anomaly. You're really solid everywhere else...so congratulations on your first team. I might have opted to only go with 1 defense to pick up a W/R with some potential upside like a Ray Rice or something. You can always drop a player who is doing nothing on your bench to pick a Def up on your bye.

Good Day sir,

No doubt that it would be good to hear some additional details about your league scoring and number of teams. I agree with Stash in the fact that in many leagues, unless you are making a reach for an elite QB, you can do well to wait and pick up functional QB's later. Using Garrard as a starter and having a more solid running game may be beneficial. It will also do you well to watch out for your injury risk players like Parker. McClain is also a bit iffy because he will be used as a Fullback more so this year so if you can shop for more solid talent at the RB3 spot I would. You may still be able to get Cedric Benson cheap and he'll be a good bye week filler. A few other guys to look at would be:

LenDale White: He came in lighter and more agile this year he's clearly still the goaline back and could produce double digit touchdowns this season.

Fred Jackson: The bills passing game has been awful this season so they may end up really leaning on their running game. I expect Jackson to be getting the majority of caries by the end of the season, plus. Marshawn Lynch is suspended for the first to games so Jackson Has immediate upside.

Carnelle "Cadillac" Williams: He's coming back and looking good and is currently listed 3rd on the depth chart but could make a jump early in the season depending on how well Grahm and ward play out of the gate.

Shonne Greene: If he is still available he could be a great pick up because the Jets are committed to using all 3 of their running backs regularly, plus with a rookie QB the Jets will lean on the run game a lot.

Tashard Choice: It has appeared throughout the preseason that the cowboys like the triple threat of Barber, Jones and Choice. I personally believe that by mid season choice will be challenging barber for carries.

Beyond that I would normally say that you could easily get by with drafting only 1 TE and DST as these are positions that you can normally find functional fillers for during your bye weeks, but nothing will help your teams value more than solid depth at RB and WR.

And finally speaking of WR, I really like the picking of Ginn and Steve Smith to round out your reviving corps, both of these players could be solid starters for you by the end of the season.
