10 team auction..h2h standard scoring...1 qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 te, 1 k, 1 def
qb - schaub, delhomme - not my strong point rb - sjax, slaton, rice, f jones, benson, bradshaw wr - steve smith, wayne, deshawn jackson, coles, stuckey, heyward-bay - drafted 2 wr's with the same bye (smith, djax), might end up offering djax and an rb for a better qb te - daniels, miller - will end up dropping one of them k - folk, gould - will be dropping one def - tampa
Overall, I think I did ok with the exception of my qb....please advise...good or bad...thank!!!
Maybe try and move F Jackson to the Lynch owner if he's got something you want (QB). Although, if Schaub can stay healthy, he may end up being a plus player for you (Im hoping so too, because on my non ppr team I have the Schaub/Delhomme combo as well!)... I definitely like your starting RBs, SS and Wayne are studs too obv. Overall, I like it
i think Schaub will have a very good year - hes definitly a solid fantasy QB...i wouldnt worry about the QB position too much.....pretty decent RBs, although I never can bring myself to trust sjax. i like your WRs, though if you plan on doing that trade I would only try to move jones benson or bradshaw...cant afford to lose too much depth at a 3 starter position.....I would cut miller and one of your kickers immediately - im not too familiar with auction drafting but it looks pretty solid overall
Pretty solid. I'm not sold on SJax either since the rest of the team (especially the O-Line) is suspect. The rest are pretty good.
I would try and upgrade Delhomme if you can. He'll get you by, but he's pretty far down the list that I use. Perhaps you could pick up someone like Palmer, Ryan or even someone like Orton?
Steve Smith, Wayne, DeSean is an electric WR crew... Sjacks, slaton, rice is sick as Rbs too... i believe Rice may finish top 25 or higher by the end of the year, im that high on him. DeSean got 1,200 and 5 TD total last year counting playoffs.. id bet on a big year from him.
I think you did pretty good. Just did some research on Delhomme, his schedule through weeks 13-16 is tough: TB, @NE, MIN, @NYG. Meanwhile Schaub is going into weeks 14-16 against Seattle, St. Louis, and Miami. It's pretty critical to end the year strong if you have a playoff format, so I think Schaub is the better guy to stick with. I like your WR's, good job grabbing D-Jax. As for the TE situation, I'd keep Miller...I don't think Schaub will the that bad, he has a lot of weapons.
