12-team PPR Money League: Went RB/RB/RB/RB WHIR!

Wondering if I made a huge mistake. This is the league I care the most about easily, and we just changed to PPR format this year. We start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, Flex, TE, K, DEF, and I had the 5th pick. I decided to simply draft for value, and there was a huge run on WR's leaving me each round with absolutely no one I wanted, so I ended up taking as much value as possible at RB and trying to salvage myself elsewhere.. how badly did I screw the pooch? There was also a run on defenses that happened early and people took back-up defenses, so I'm just going to be doing the waiver wire thing as usual.

QB: McNabb, Cutler
RB: Tomlinson, Gore, R. Bush, K. Smith, D. Brown
WR: Royal, Walter, Holt, Branch, Gage
TE: Gates
K: Nick Folk
DEF: Texans

Does my team have a chance? I love my team minus my second WR, and am hoping Gage/Branch break out or I can just play match-ups. Obviously would look at trading a RB down the line, but for now think I may be OK. Thoughts? Will gladly help in return.

Think you made out pretty darn well, considering. Royal will be great with PPR, Walter will be good enough. Yeah, I'd like to be a little stronger at WR, but you're in good enough shape IMO. I actually wouldn't be too eager to dump a RB either, Reggie Bush is a monster while he's healthy but when and if he goes down you'll be loving Kevin Smith. I'd be willing to trade someone but not in desperation mode...you need a really good WR to consider moving someone IMO.

Thats perfect example why you should have gone for a top WR in first round. McNabb as a QB is a weak option in PPR leagues, plus none of your top RBs will get receptions. WR core is decent but it's tough to invest your future in guys like Royal and Walters. Holt might be pretty good this year however.
