12-team standard scoring, NON-PPR. WHIR

Postby saemick » Sun Aug 30, 2009 11:08 pm

Just drafted in my 12-team keeper league (only players drafted after the 5th round can be kept & can only keep a max of 3 players). Below is my team and in (parenthesis) are the round player was drafted in. I drafted out of the 5th spot:

QB: Warner (kept from last year for 18th round pick), Delhomme (10)
RB: Turner (1), McFadden(3), Moreno (6), Donald Brown (7), Shonn Greene (11), Hillis (15)
WR: Roddy White (2), TO (4), Marshall (5), Percy Harvin (9), Hakeem Nicks (13), Chaz Shillens (14), Donnie Avery (kept from last year for 17th round pick)
TE: Olsen (kept from last year for 8th round pick)
DST: SD (12)
K: Kaeding (16 - last pick)

This is a Non-PPR, standard scoring (all TD's = 6pts, 25yds pass = 1pt, 10yds rush/rec = 1pt)

I was absolutely shocked Turner fell to me at 5, so was happy about that.
Also, I know my WR's are a little sketchy with the off-field issues...but overall how do you think I did?

Thanks for help on mine.

QB: Warner (kept from last year for 18th round pick), Delhomme (10) - I don't like Warner to stay healthy the whole season. With that said, you would have been better off grabbing a better QB2.

RB: Turner (1), McFadden(3), Moreno (6), Donald Brown (7), Shonn Greene (11) - I have the same reservations with McFadden. And the rest of your bench are all in a RBBC. Not to sure I like that.

WR: Roddy White (2), TO (4), Marshall (5), Percy Harvin (9), Hakeem Nicks (13), Chaz Shillens (14), Hillis (15), Donnie Avery (kept from last year for 17th round pick) - this is where your team is the absolute strongest. Great starters, but I don't play in a keeper so I don't know much about Harvin, Nicks, or Shillens. I like Avery, though.

TE: Olsen (kept from last year for 8th round pick) - Solid pick.
DST: SD (12) - undervalued, IMO. I think they bounce back in a big way. Sproles returning kicks is always a great threat, too.

K: Kaeding (16 - last pick) - whatever. He's a kicker, but I'm targeting Carney not that Hartley is suspended for the Saints. Carney had a great year for NYG last year and he goes to a much more explosive offense.

Good luck! ;-D
