Which stud to keep?

Postby ZachR » Mon Aug 31, 2009 9:35 am

10-team non-PPR league. Starting rosters include 2 RB, 3 WR, one RB/WR, and one WR/TE.

My team last year was stacked. We can keep 2 players. Who do I keep?

QB J. Cutler
RB S. Jackson
RB C. Johnson
RB J. Addai
WR L. Fitzgerald
WR A. Bolden
WR B. Marshall
WR B. Edwards

I think it's pretty clear that the decision comes to S. Jackson, C. Johnson, and Fitzgerald. Which two???

you have the potential to start 3RB a week and 3WR a week or 2RB a week and 4WR a week, so why not have one position for sure accounted for with starters? go with SJax and CJ.24, draft a big time WR with your first round pick and then go with value over position picks from there on out.

My original post was incorrect. We start 2 RB, 3 WR, and 1 RB/WR and 1 WR/TE. So I could actually start 5 WRs. As far as drafting a big-time WR in the first round, I think the best I could get would be like a Greg Jennings, assuming guys like Moss, Andre Johnson, and Calvin Johnson get kept or picked before me. There will be 20 players kept and another 7 picked before I get my first pick.

ok yeah thats some much needed information, then yes you have to keep Fitz so i would go with SJax and Fitz. Btw you say 'the best you could get would be like a Greg Jennings' whats wrong with that? If your carrying 2 big time RB i would gladly take Jennings as my #1 WR, those 80REC and 1300Yards with 9TDs last year will do nothing but increase this year. but yes you have to keep Fitz if you can potentially start 5WR.

I would keep Fitz and Johnson. I don't like the O-line and WR in St Louis to keep S-Jax.
