Marion and TO for Forte and Cotchery WHIR

Postby TheMax » Mon Aug 31, 2009 11:19 am

10 Team Keeper League
Standard Yahoo! Scoring (Non-PPR)

QB- Matt Schaub
WR- Randy Moss
WR- Terrell Owens
WR- Braylon Edwards
RB- Ladanian Tomlinson
RB- Marion Barber
TE- Greg Olsen
K- Rob Bironas
DEF- Dallas
BN- Darren McFadden
BN- Felix Jones
BN- Domenik Hixon
BN- Ray Rice
BN- Matt Hasselbeck
BN- Josh Morgan

I really wanted to see if I would be able to get Forte. Do you think that this would be a good trade for me? If it were to be accepted, I'd probably try to move McFadden for another WR. Thoughts?

I think this would be a great trade. I am not High on TO. I think he will meltdown come mid season. Forte is a top RB in a keeper league. If you can get him, go for it.

I would say I like your RB depth more than your WR depth. If you were able to get a decent WR for McFadden, then do it. But if not, I like your team better before the trade here.

It seems like a no brainer.... Forte is going to have a huge year... and barber has felix jones on his heels.

Don't think, accept this trade already!! TO is nothing great and you already have Moss and Edwards. Barber is going to be eating turf and Forte will be getting even more running room with Cutler there. Did you see the game from last night? I know it was preseason but it seems Cutler has a lot of love for Forte and Olsen.

All depends on your opinion of TO. I'd do this deal if I were you. Any time there's a 2 for 2 , I'll always take the side with the better player as long as there's not a huge discrepancy between the lesser players. Forte is the clear cut best player in this trade, and I don't like TO this year. I'd definitely try to nab another WR, but do this deal regardless of that fact.
