Barber For A Pick? 7 Man Keeper League! WHIR!

Postby nola_saint » Mon Aug 31, 2009 11:42 am

8-team keeper league, we kee7 including 1 player with 2 or less years NFL experience. I have:
A. Rodgers
Westbrook
Forte
Chris johnson
Steve Smith
boldin
MB3.
I also have McNabb and Jennings as options.
I was thinking of offering the huge Cowboys fan barber for his 1st rounder, 3rd overall. I have the 6th pick too, then the 11th. Then I could keep McNabb or Jennings.
We start 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, WR/TE, WR/RB/TE, TE, K, DEF. TDs=6, 40 yds pass, 10 rush/rec=1 pt, 4 Recepts=1 pt.
Should I offer/ask for more? If I do this, who do I target? Could this make me better?
Here is some available players:
Jennings-WR
Ray Rice-RB
Ryan Grant-RB
Kurt Warner- QB
J. Stewart-RB
B.Marshall-WR
J.Addai-RB
D. Ward-Rb
A.Gates-TE
A.Bryant-WR
R. Williams-WR
D.McNabb-QB
B. Edwards-WR
OchoCinco-WR
L. Johnson-RB
K.Moreno-RB
B. Wells-RB

Leave a link........................... ;-D

I would definitely make the Barber trade for the pick. Then McNabb/Jennings are both good keepers and there is good talent available there.

I'm a Packers fan so I would say Jennings. Looks like you could maybe get Warner then if you needed a QB

i may prefer McNabb to Warner, but Jennings possibly would be my guy since I have Rodgers.
Still want to know from anyone if this trade has any value for me.

I'd say do that.

I think the Cowboys offense may be a little down this year (it would have been better for TO to stay there and it would been better for the Cowboys if he had), and Felix will be back, so MB3 may be splitting again somewhat.

Keep Jennings as a keeper, WR's like him don't grow on trees, and you can find a QB to match what McNabb does.

Thanks for the help on my LJ/next-Forte question.

I also say go for it. Since you have to start 2 QB's I would keep McNabb if the trade happens and hope that Jennings falls to you at 3.
