Drafted 8th each round, have round pick in parentheses. Will take and value ANY opinions really want to win this league and just joined this forum pretty nice, will post and try to help other people too thanks!
Heres my team drafted: QB: Matt Ryan (5th round) RB: Stephen Jackson (1st round) RB: Ronnie Brown (3rd round) RB/WR: WR: Roddy White (2nd round) WR: Terrell Owens (4th round) WR: Lavernaues Coles (8th round) TE: Greg Olsen (7th round) D/ST: Vikings (11th round) K: Nick Folk (13th round) BE: Jonathan Stewart (6th round) BE: Nate Burleson (9th round) BE: Ray Rice (10th round) BE: Michael Crabtree (12th round) BE: Chansi Stuckey (14th round)
In this league it is normal scoring with 1 point per reception as well. thanks Also in this league players drafted after the 8th round, we can keep as many of them as we want for NEXT year if we keep them on your roster the whole year, those eligible players are in bold
Also I am not sure who to put at flex yet so please please pretty please give e your opinions thanks in advance!!!!
Heres what I though of each player I took, just a brief summary Steven Jackson-I was drafting 8th in this league and when he fell here it was a no-brainer, I had him 3rd overall on my rankings Roddy White-At this point there seemed to be enough RB's on the board still and we need to start 3 WR in our league, so i took Roddy as a surefire stud. Ronnie Brown- Averaged 4+ yards per carry last year coming off a bad injury from the year before now he looks fully ready and I am sure he will be looking at a lot of carries since people have caught on the wildcat. Terrell Owens-Again you need a lot of WRs in this league and at this point T.O. was the best available WR and I already have 2 studly RB's Matt Ryan- Quarterbacks came off the board fast and I decided to snatch up Ryan since all that was left was Ryan, McNabb, and Shaun Hill, Matt Hasselbeck and worse, Ryan could be very good as well Jonathan Stewart- Can't have too many running backs' and I am still thinking that some point in the season the Panthers will go from WILLIAMS/stewart to 50/50 carries Greg Olsen- Last tight end I had listed as a stud for 2009 so I decided to take him instead of wait until a few rounds and take someone like Visanthe Shaincoe Lavernaues Coles- Should fit right into where Houshmanzadeh left and Ocho will be overlooked yet again by Palmer this year Nate Burlseon- Like I said you need 3 WR and a flex so he would be ideal if Coles or Owens or White got injured or I can fit him nicely into the flex. Ray Rice- Took him partly for this year and partly to keep him for next year, he will overcome McGahee very soon and get tons of carries and the points per reception fits nicely with him here Vikings D/ST- In my league people gobble up D's like crazy, I took the Vikings because of there amazing d-line Michael Crabtree- Again I can keep him for next year if I want to, and if he does get a contract signed before week 1 he could come in helpful weeks 6-14 Nick Folk- Normally take a kicker in last round but since nobody in my draft knew about Stuckey I took Folk now, and just got Stuckey next round Chansi Stuckey- Great pre season and the #1 receiver of the Jets, Mark Sanchez is already showing heavy favoritism to the 7th round draftee out of Clemson

Let me know what you think thanks!
I'll just do this by position...
QB - Well, There's only one so obviously your a little light in this position. Personally, McNabb > Ryan simply on him being a veteran, more weapons and no worries for a sophmore jinx on an obviously tough schedule. Matt Ryan looks like the real deal, but that schedule is worrysome and not well... I don't see him dominating or putting statistics similar to his rookie season.
RB - Excellent!!! S-Jax, Ronnie Brown, Johnathan Stewart and Ray Rice... How'd Rice fall to round 10 is beyond me, cause in my league he wasn't even close to being a sleeper. Think he made it to Round 4. Anyways, Jackson is injury-prone, so good job on the depth. Ray Rice IMO is a top 10 fantasy back... Stewart could emerge and hopefully CAR will go 50/50 on his carries. I drafted Brown in one of my leagues, but last year he was kinda so-so... If you subtract his 5-TD game against the Pats, he had only 8 TDs for the rest of the season.
WR - Pretty Good... Obviously Roddy is your stud here, but after that might have some ?'s... T.O. is 35 or 36 and the fact he'll be double-covered most of the time it seems like Lee Evans will benefit for it. Plus Trent Edwards hasn't been looking so stellar... L.Coles is a nice WR3, and with Carson back I can see both Ochocinco & Coles having a great year... Ocho might see the endzone a little more though. Nate, Michael & Chansi are ?'s... Nate could emerge as a valid number 2 guy on the Seahawks, but... Its the Seahawks so lol... Michael could be great if he actually goes to practice and Stuckey might be a nice escape valve for rookie QB Sanchez...
TE - Cutler has 2 majory passing threats... Greg is one, so looks good to me... Devin stretching the DB's will keep Greg doing nicely weeks to come.
Kicker/DEF - Kicker is a kicker so lol... Whatever. I love the defense mainly cause of what u stated. Amazing front line and well... The defense just looks GOOD!!!

Wow thanks for the advice, that was actually really helpful. For Matt Ryan I am gonna try him for a few weeks, and if he doesn't do well in the first few weeks, well I will pick up somebody from waivers, and as for the WR with having to have 3 in the league starting I'm really looking to trade T.O. and Burleson, since both are valued high in my leauge and trade for 1 stud or 2 more realiable players. Thanks

Do you have a backup QB? I like SJax, not too high on Ronnie Brown. Solid WR for a 12-team league. I'd say solid, low-risk team.
