No, don't do those trades.

Westbrook is a top RB when healthy and you also have his handcuff. That is worth a lot more than D Ward (3-way RBBC and he probably won't get goal line) and D Brown (RB2 in RBBC with some upside). Even in the first trade, the upgrade of Bowe/Hixon/Gates over Roy W/Harvin wasn't enough to make up what you'd be losing at RB so the second trade where you're only getting Driver/Gates is terrible. Gates is an elite TE but you have a solid platoon already with Carlson/Miller and you'd probably be cutting one of those TEs for your trade partner to pick up for free. When looking at the first offer, I'd consider it but I think you'd be losing too much at RB to make the trade. I wouldn't even consider that second deal.

I agree, the second one gives you more for what westbrook is really worth. That is a big trade, good luck!

i would have to agree with this trade.

Westbrook is just as injury prone as ronnie brown is..only difference is ronnie brown performs slightly better then westbrook when healthy. So thats an even trade there along with the downside of westbrook losing carries to Mccoy.

your downside is...you have to drop someone that he will obviously pick up

who will you drop? Chad penn, hester, or lendale white ;)

not a fan of either trade... I think Ward will be serviceable, Brown is OK , I like Bowe but he's not a huge upgrade over Roy W and Gates is a top tier TE but your TEs have a ton of potential.

Now, IF westbrook is healthy... he's a proven FF stud - a team changer. Ward isn't. Brown isn't. You have McCoy so your risk in him is mitigated. It' s not a horrible deal, but I don't really see the upgrade except at TE and a little at WR.

I agree with the other posters, the price seems a little too high. The Westy/McCoy combo is pretty valuable, and the upgrades elsewhere aren't making up for it enough to compensate for the RB downgrade.
