steven jackson for randy moss, PPR

Postby Rat Pack » Mon Aug 31, 2009 2:04 pm

So we just had our draft last night and I've already been offered steven jackson for randy moss. This is a PPR league, everything else pretty standard, we start 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 Flex. I'm torn b/c I need RB help, but I don't want to give up Moss. Here's my team currently (I drafted 12th out of 12), tell me what you would do. WHIR

QB:
Schaub, Palmer
RB:
Ronnie Brown, McFadden, Wells, Sproles, Charles
WR:
Andre Johnson, Moss, Hester, Harvin, Morgan
TE:
Celek
Def:
Jets
K:
Gould

I wouldn't do it. What you lack in RB depth, you will make up in WR. You've got Johnson and Moss, that's equals 2 WR's and one RB's points every week with those two guys. You're RB's aren't great, but they will be fine. SJax is going to see a lot of 8 in the box this year. If it was Forte, MJD or APeterson, would do it then.

decline this... you can't afford to give that without getting a quality WR in return with SJax and that won't happen. you would go from starting at worst Hester/Harvin/Wells at your flex as compared to starting Hester/Harvin as your WR2. Moss should score more points then SJax overall and i think the 2-headed monster of AJ/Moss is better then having a 2-headed monster of SJax/Brown... stand pat unless he comes back with SJax and a quality WR replacement.
