At 6 I would go for lt if he's avail. If not, take whichever wr you like most. Can't go wrong w/ Moss, Fitz, or Johnson. I personally have them ranked Fitz, CJ, then Moss, but that's me.
good luck!

So it seems the consensus is that if LT is there, take him. If LT is gone, but Gore is there skip Gore and take one of the top 3 WRs. Anyone disagree?

I would definitely take Moss of Calvin Johnson over LT. Last year with LT hurt the chargers suddenly discovered they have a passing game too. I do not see LT being used the same way this year as he has been in the past.

A. Umm what AJ is injury prone? aside from the injury in 07-08 where does the injury prone come into context at? If I'm not mistaken "injury prone" players would be defined as multiple injuries year after year, this is far from the case with Andre. And since when is a player who posts 1500+ Receiving yards and 8 scores 'overrated', also add to the fact that if not for the injury in 07-08 Johnson would have shattered your comment about the 8 TDs in one season comment, as he had 8 in 9 games, and was on pace for around 1500+ yards which would have given him 1100+ plus for 3 straight and 1500+ for 2 straight. You need to back it down with the wordage you use on players such as 'overrated' and 'injury prone', as a lot of players are 'overrated' in different peoples eyes and the injury prone labels are reserved for players such as SJax and Westy.

B. Want to talk about 'overrated', overrated would be yall talking about Moss going over any other receiver because of the stats he put up once with Brady over a year ago. Yall think hes gonna catch 23 TDs again in this lifetime? I think THATS a tad overrated.

C. How you can say that all of a sudden the Chargers found there passing game last year. Yes they had to depend on that pass more so last year, but you think that Norv is lying when he says LT will get his carries? I think I'm gonna call the BS card on you on that one, anyone that says that Norv is lying has lost touch with reality. LT is a back that every single season since his rookie year has scored at least double digit TDs and rushed for at least 1100 yards (before last year it was at least 1400 yards) you don't just one year say 'well sorry featured and franchise RB but um your not going to get the ball because we don't think you can carry the load.' I'm sorry that statement, or lack there of, really made me chuckle. To think that a healthy LT, which he is coming into this year, won't total at least a combined 1700 yds and 15 TDs is just about crazy.

Wish I was in your league with all your negatives, wow. !+)

A. Andre Johnson has ONE year where he put up elite numbers. I think you need to do your homework on players before you open your mouth.

Johnson had 1 season with 1500 yard and 8 tds.

2007 injured
2006 1100 yards 5 tds
2005 600 yards 2td

In one breath you act like I shouldn't be attacking Andre Johnson even though he had one good season in his ENTIRE career then in another breath you attack me for saying Randy Moss who has been elite practically his entire career is overrated. You can't have it both ways, even if Moss puts up half of what he put up with Brady 2 years ago it is still better than every single season Andre Johnson ever had. Seriously get your facts straight before you go giving people advice.

B. LT has had over 2000 carries in the last 8 years. He is hitting 30. History shows that RB's that get the kind of workload LT has gotten are at severe risk for injuries at the age he is right now. On top of that the chargers have a capable back up. You got all of history against you. If you think playing against those odds is worth it with your first round pick be my guest.

What other players haven't been kept that you think may make it back to your next pick? I like Gore a lot, so I'd be tempted to go with him if LT's gone and he's there, especially since it's a non-ppr league. But, it would depend on if you think you can get a Jennings/Boldin type WR or a Jacobs/R. Brown/Grant type RB with your next pick.

I'd go LT, Moss, Fitz, CJ. So yes, LT first and if he's not there get a big-time WR. You already have Chris Johnson, so it's not the end of the world if you don't get a back here. I don't like hitching my wagon to a guy like Gore this early in the draft, as his team probably won't score a lot and he's notoriously injury-prone. I like Moss as the number 1 WR, but you can't argue with Fitz, CJ, or maybe even AJ too.

Agree also to take LT and hope that one of the top flight WR comes around to you next round, then you get the best of both worlds.

Thanks and I'll take a look at your's shortly.
Kept are ADP, Truner, Forte, DeAngelo, CJ424(me), Slaton, Grant, PThomas, Rodgers, Warner, and some lower end guys. Only ADP cost someone a pick in the first 2 rounds and that was the guy drafting the 9 spot (will be his 1st round pick). There are 7 picks after mine so I'm guessing that in Round 2 I may have guys like Jacobs (iffy), Portis, Brown, Smith, and WRs like Wayne, Jennings, Smith, Boldin, White. So, am I better off with Gore/Jennings or Brown/Moss?
