Keeper League Deal involving Brady and Peyton - WHIR

Postby TheGuru22 » Mon Aug 31, 2009 9:01 pm

What are your thoughts on this deal I was proposed in a keeper league which just drafted again last night:

Start 2QB, 3WR, 2RB, 1Flex, 1TE. PPR, 4pts per passing TD, 1pt per 25 yds passing, 6pts per receiving TD, 1pt per 10yds receiving

I give:
Tom Brady
Ochocinco
Jerricho Cotchery

I get :
Peyton Manning
Roddy White
Santana Moss

I'm leaning towards doing it, as I see Roddy as a significant upgrade over Chad, while I think Peyton is going to put up only slightly worse numbers than Brady, but wanted to get others thoughts on the deal.

Tom Brady > Peyton Manning
Ochocinco = Roddy White
Jerricho Cotchery = Santana Moss

I would pass. Watch out for Ochocinco if Palmer is healthy.

I think White is an upgrade over 85, but Peyton is a downgrade from Brady. This seems to be 6 in 1 hand, half-dozen the other...

That being said, I'd stand pat for now. No reason to shake things up unless you absolutely know you're getting the better of this deal

I would probably do it. Manning isn't a HUGE downgrade like you said, and if Roddy has finally arrived, I thikn he's definitely an upgrade over a volatile Ocho.

Even though I'm a Pats fan, I would say you should take that deal. I think the upgrade from White over Ochocinco is bigger than the downgrade from Brady to Manning.
