I had the #5 pick, 12 team snake draft, combo (TD + yds) scoring and PPR
We also had to fulfill a designated number for each position
QBs (3) start 1 Brady, Edwards, Vick
RBs (4) start 2 C Johnson, R Grant, C. Wells, D Brown
WRs(5) start 3 Colston, D Jackson, Avery, S Smith(NYG), E Bennett
TE (2) start 1 Winslow, Heap
K (2) start 1 Vinatieri, Scobee
DT/ST (2) start 1 San Diego, Buffalo
I actually went against all normal thinking and took Brady at 1.5(Brees actually went 1.2) and I think I still have a pretty good RB core. I took Vick figuring the only way I won't start Brady is if he's not playing. So I took a chance hoping he does something that interests another owner for a possible trade. Vick had more upside than any of the other QBs that were left (all back ups). One other thing to mention is points are doubled if your player scores in an other than standard way (ie QB rush TD, RB rec TD, ect) so if Philly starts using Vick down in the red zone like it is rumored, it could pay off.
WR's are a group of #3's I think. Colston a Strong #2.
I think that trading Chris Johnson for a guy like Addai and a strong WR might be a good bet. (Of course adding a WR to make it a deal for both players.)
I'm all about a great #1 WR though, so I might be biased.
Your WRs are your weak spot. I do like colston, but after having desean jackson last year, I firmly do not believe he can fit that wes welker mold because he Donovan seems to ignore him a lot. Avery, Smith and E. Bennett are all solid #3 receivers in my book, meaning that you could possibly take one and package with Jackson for a better #2. I like your top 2 rbs, but the depth behind it is thin. I don't know if taking brady that high is worth the risk... if only 3 rbs were taken before you, that means you had either Turner MJD or Forte left, and that would've made your team a bit more beastly.

I had a chance to take Turner, but I don't like him. I firmly believe in the over used back theory for the following year and I also think the Falcons are going to take a big step back this year. Most teams that make a big jump like that usually do. I was praying MJD dropped to me because I think he is easily going to be the number 1 RB this year, surpassing Peterson easily.
Before reading the bottom portion, I was trying to determine which rounds guys were picked in. I assumed it was CJ in 1 and Brady in 2. I don't like the Brady pick at 1.5, but in a 12-team league I think you got lucky still getting CJ in round 2. If you didn't want to go RB in the first round, I think the best strategy would have been Fitz or Moss there, and even getting a stud WR in round 2 (or the Johnson pick is still fine). Decent QBs can be had pretty late. I also don't like the rule that forces you to fill a certain amount of positions...it handstraps you.
Colston was a nice pick, and unlike the other poster, I do like Jackson this year. But it is still a position that could/should be improved for you (although I think all of your backup WRs have nice "upside"...at least one should break out). If Wells or Brown breaks out, trade one (or Grant) to a RB-desperate team (there always are a couple in 12-team leagues) for a stud WR...don't settle though. Also, less of a priority, but look to upgrade at TE. I don't like Winslow (or his situation in TB), and Heap is always hurt and not that good anyway. Don't fork out too much in a trade, but keep an eye on the waiver wire for a guy like Jermichael Finley or Brandon Pettigrew that may not have been drafted.
Overall a solid team...definitely playoff worthy in a 12-team league, and with a few tweaks and astute pickups could contend for a championship (despite the 1st round QB pick).

I decided that if Brees or Brady dropped to me at 5 I was taking them, so i went with my gut. I love CJ this year and I think he could contend for highest scoring RB this year. Finley is available and I have been looking at him. I was thinking of putting in a claim for him and dropping Heap. Our rosters are locked until after week 1 is played. I look at my WRs the same way. They all may not be studs, but they all have upside that could develop and gives me the ability to play matchups and see how they develop.
