Where would you rank Wayne and Jennings?

I was looking at some fantasy football websites, magazines, and other stuff...and I saw that there was some discrepancies between sources on where they rank these guys. I've seen Wayne as high as 4 and as low as like 10 and I've seen Jennings in the (5-10) range. Just wondering what you guys thought... If you feel like just posting your top ten WR's in order that would be great. Also, what do you guys think of Ocho Cinco. From reading it seems like either you love him or hate him this year.

I'd have a tough time putting either of them ahead of Moss, Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald personally. After that it gets a little dicey, but in the mix are Wayne, Jennings, Colston, Steve Smith, Anquan Boldin and I suppose Roddy White (although I'm not nearly as sold on him as others are) and Wes Welker (who I also don't believe should really be in this conversation).

There has been some discussion on Wayne in general having a down year last year and exactly what the cause of this was. Some believe that this was due to Marvin Harrison's demise, some believe that it was due to Wayne's slowly degrading abilities (or in the rare case that he was never very talented and having a future HoF WR across from him masked this), while others believe it was due to Peyton Manning's injury and subsequent slow start.

I'm of the latter, believing that he's due for a bounce-back year.

As for Jennings, people kind of look at it from the exact opposite angle: Donald Driver is aging and no longer the focus of the offense, giving Jennings all of the first-looks, Rodgers should improve over last year, the Packers' O-line is strong and the running game keeps defenses honest. Personally I view that the running game's mild problems last year helped provide the passing game with more opportunity and maybe that will even out a little in 2009. I'm not as high on Jennings as others are.

Greg Jennings is one of the top talents in the game and he plays in one of the top offenses in the game. Guy isn't Randy Moss or Calvin Johnson, but he is the closest thing you will find to a WR1 on a top offense in the league this year. Reggie Wayne is a pretty talented guy himself, but Indy showed some chinks in the armor last year without Harrison and Wayne himself struggled to produce in double coverage. I think both of these guys are quality WR1 picks this year, but I do think Jennings has by far a higher upside than Wayne and is only slightly more risky.

Wayne I've never liked. I don't know what it is, but I just don't trust him to produce. I would not draft him this year; there's other guys like Steve Smith or TO who are in the same range who I trust more.

Ocho Cinco I have trusted in the past; this year I have no idea if he's interested in football or interested in tweeting or where his head is at so won't draft him where his talent say he should be.

I have them rated as a push. Wayne should rebound, but there are concerns over Mannings gradual decline, change in HC and the absence of a percieved threat like Harrison. Can Wayne stand out on his own now? Though I think he will, it is enough of a concern to keep him in stride with Jennings.
Jennings is the man in a high octane O, but one that is wanting to run more this year. How this is going to impact Jennings is hard to say. But he is too skilled not to be an elite level WR this season. So he or Wayne after Moss, Fitz, Megatron, AJ, and Steve Smith are gone, I would be happy with either. Maybe a slight nod to Wayne. After those guys there is a pretty dramatic increase in risk.

This is how I have them personally. As far is it being slow, I would imagine there will be a big boom a few days before game 1.

I feel Wayne will rebound but his drop last year worries me. Could Marvin's decline be the cause? And can Gonzalez step in enough to take some of the coverage off of Wayne.

Jennings is on the rise. As Rodgers gets better so will Jennings. I feel he is about to hit stride

When it comes down to the 5-7 WR rankings, I have Jennings, SS and Wayne in there. Right now I have Jennings slightly above the others, because the Packers' first team offense has been literally unstoppable(zero punts in all of their possessions through the first three games) thus far in the preseason. We could very easily see 1300/14 from Jennings, possibly more, if Rodgers continues his awesome play into the regular season, and Grant keeps playing like he has been to keep defenses honest.

IMHO, Wayne easily cracks the Top 5 this season (I have him #3)... Hes the #1 WR on the the Peyton Manning's. Marvin is gone and Wayne has the speed, hands, route running ability, and most importantly chemistry to put up huge #s with Peyton. Reggie Wayne was an easy Top 10 (with Top 5 upside) with Marvin as the #1 WR and now the jobs all Reggies! I see a career year for this Miami product, personally, im taking him on every team if hes there in the 2nd round!

oh yeah... Jennings is ok
(i like Driver to have as good a year as Jennings)
