The deal has now changed to Barber in return for Calvin Johnson. Any help?
Obviously I would offer any insights I might have into questions you guys might have with your teams. I'm not sure I'm qualified to be offering advice though.
No Barber for CJ. No Barber for SS. You can do better than that IMO. Barber+another backup WR for SS, dont think i would sell CJ though unless someone offers something big for him
Calvin Johnson is the #1 WR in fantasy in my opinion. If you want Barber, I would do Steve Smith for Barber, as you clearly need RB help, but I'm doubting the other owner would do that. Keep me posted...
Thanks guys. I had initially proposed Steve Smith for Barber (and possibly a back up WR too). He wouldn't bite. He came back with CJ for Barber. I've already told him I would have to get a back up WR or RB in addition to Barber before I can even think about that.
I agree. Don't give up CJ for Barber. You would be insane to do that IMO. I would do SS and a lesser WR for Barber especially given how badly you need help at RB.
0.5 PPR 14-team league. All TDs are 6. QB - Vick, Tannehill RB - CJ2K, TRich, Pierre Thomas, Redman, lamar miller WR - S Smith (CAR), Demaryius, Hartline, TY Hilton, Hixon TE - Witten, Chandler
NO NO NO!! I would try to get a RB because you are hurting. See if you can move Smith. The othher two have more value in my opinion but I think you could get a top 10 RB for Smith.
So, we have established that I would need to get at least one more player in addition to Barber in order to make it worth CJ. He made a counter of Barber + Nate Burleson which I politely declined. He is now open for suggestions. Here is who he has:
RB -- Turner, Barber, P. Thomas, Moreno, F. Jones, E. Graham, Mendenhall
WR -- V. Jackson, Meachem, B. Marshall, Burleson
What should I ask for?
(I realize this is a bit of a convoluted situation. Thanks for bearing with me, guys and gals).
The other option is to just try to work out a deal with another guy altogether. The guy that has Peterson in my league also has Portis. I might be able to give him Smith for Portis.

The more I consider it, the more I come back to that. I think I will just keep shopping Steve Smith for a while. I will still listen if anyone has any other suggestions though.
