Need #2 Reciever, White and Cotchery for V Jax?

Postby theboomking » Wed Sep 02, 2009 4:36 am

so this is my team as of now.
QB: Matt Schaub
RB: Michael Turner
Pierre Thomas
WR: Hines Ward
Calvin Johnson
TE: Tony Gonzalez
DP: Jon Beason
D/ST: Jets
K: Rob Bironas
Bench:Chad Pennington
Lendale White
Jerricho Cotchery
Chris Wells
So...i'd like a slightly stronger #2 reciever. is it worth it to trade white and cotchery for vincent jackson? Also, on a side-note should I ward and white instead of cotchery and white? thanks so much for the help guys, it's my second year and i'm still pretty terrible so i need all the help i can get :)

Cotchey is a good receiver and is fairly consistent, however he rarely puts up big numbers. White will see goal line action but you have solid RB’s and really do not need him. VJAX will put up nice numbers all year long and is good as a WR1 in deep leagues, and a WR2 in smaller leagues.
I think you can afford to make the deal.

I think VJax will improve your starting lineup there yes. . . Depending on who is available I'd offer the 2nd one and keep your backs. Beanie is injuy prone so I don't trust him at #3 without a #4 RB (White). I'd go Ward and Cotch and then pay attention to the open market to pick up another WR.
