Looks like a pretty decent team and you should have no problem making the playoffs.

QB - Very nice starter in Rodgers, but I'm not quite sold on Cassel

RB - Nice work here, MJD was #1 on my board in my PPR league, and Smith is a very solid #2. McFadden and Johnson at 3 & 4 respectively are superb backups and I see you using McFadden as a starter later on.

WR - Looking strong here with some nice depth from Moore and Walter. I don't see you using Breaston much, so you could use him in a trade later.

TE - Olsen is a decent fit here, he should be an above average TE in your league.

K - I would try to upgrade here, if there is any better FAs out there. Otherwise, you should take the committee approach.

DST - The Chargers look to be a solid fantasy defense again this year.

Overall, this looks like an above average and you should still be in it come December.

EDIT You May have some trouble in week 5, when you only TE, K and DST have bye weeks. You may want to look ahead and decide how you're gonna deal with than

Thanks for rating my team! viewtopic.php?t=442977

This is a pretty solid team. Rodgers is a great QB, Cassel will have his moments but I think he's a great QB2. I have big expectations for Kevin Smith this year, and MJD + Smith is a great combination. Your WRs are great, I love Steve Smith and Bowe. I hope Desean Jackson just remembers not to drop anymore end-line goals at the 1 yard line. Again, solid team.

I caught the week 5 issue myself. Here's the team I'll be facing:
QB Peyton Manning vs. TEN
RB DeAngelo Williams vs. CAR
RB Ray Rice vs. CIN
FL Derrick Mason vs. CIN
WR Hines Ward vs. TEN
WR Patrick Clayton vs. KC
TE Tony Gonzalez vs. SF
DEF Steelers vs. DET
K Kris Brown vs. ARI

I should have these guys:
QB Matt Cassel vs. DAL
RB MJD vs. SEA
RB Kevin Smith vs. PIT
FL Darren McFadden vs. NYG
WR Steve Smith vs. WAS
WR Dwayne Bowe vs. DAL
TE ?
DEF ?
K ?

On week 5 I WAS planning to drop a kicker, a RB, and a WR to grab a new TE, K, and DEF. But I don't know if this is a good approach or not.

Do I trade to trade kickers? That way I won't be down so many people? I honestly love TE, so giving up him isn't an option. I like SD too....but do I drop them and attempt the committee approach? Do I wait until week 2 or 3, and try to bait someone with Graham, Moore or Walter if they are having good seasons? Or do I just admit defeat and take the loss?

Any advice would help!

Never admit defeat!

If I were in your position, I would try to trade SD and Breaston or Graham for a Solid DST (one that doesn't have a week 5 bye). You only start 2 WR/RBs, there's no reason to have 5 of each. Then you would have a roster spot open for the TE2. All you would have left to deal with would be the K, where I would use the committee approach anyways.
